Just my opinion but I would steal clear of This unit. Mine lasted less than 2 seasons and there is plenty of negative threads here on this jack. Seems barker and husky make good units given the feedback seen on this forum.

They are junk. Mine lasted less than 1 season. Spend a few dollars more and get a Barker VIP 3500 lb jack. Been trouble free for 3 years.

The jack will work fine for your trailer. The only issue with the LCI units is reliability. I am on my 3rd season with my LCI jack and its still working fine (knock wood). I cover mine though when not in use so that rain and dirt don't work its way into it. I think that's a contributor to the early failure rate on these jacks. I read on one of the forums where someone took theirs apart and found it pretty corroded inside.

I will replace mine with a Husky or Barker when it finally does bite the dust.

Oh ya another thing to help on all jacks is to make sure you chock the wheels BEFORE you raise/lower the jack that way there is less stress on the post from fwd/bkwd rolling when setting up.
