Rear kitchen + dual waste tanks = ?

Greetings!
We're shopping for another trailer. You know how it goes-- each new
trailer is the "last one we'll buy" until it's not.....

We've seen a couple floor plans that we really liked.
They typically had a rear kitchen and those seem to show
dual gray water tanks. I understand why, I guess. The bathroom
is in the front end with the bed and the kitchen is in the opposite end
so they have 2 gray tanks.

Question-- does that mean I have to dump and then pull forward and dump
a 2nd time?? That is unless I have a really long hose?

Also have heard some folks who think a rear kitchen is a problem due
to the extra bounce in the back end. My wife has heard that dishes
get tossed a lot and even food or other items can get thrown to the
floor.

Do you think a rear kitchen is more of a problem than say a mid-kitchen??

We really like the floor plan of the Flagstaff 8528 RKWS
It shows 76 gal gray capacity. I assume this means 2 tanks with
2 dump locations?

Rear outside kitchen has its own gray tank because in the non rear outside kitchen model there's a half bath there so then they use it for black water.
I split the difference of tank outlets so hose reaches both instead of pulling ahead.
I have 0 negatives on our outside kitchen !

Our first rear kitchen, a Rockwood 8280SS had two outlets to dump from. The new fifth wheel we bought this year, a Wildcat 282RKX has the rear grey tank piped to the front of the rv so we don't have to move dump the rear tank. That makes it much more convenient.

We have the Rockwood version of the camper you're looking at. Yes, it has 2 - 38 gal gray water tanks and separate outlets. The galley tank outlet is just behind the axles and under the main slide. I haven't found it to be an issue. We seldom ever camp at full hook-ups and find that for us, the galley tank is about 12 day capacity. Another member, duunc, has hard-piped the 2 outlets together and can provide details on that.

This is the 2nd rear kitchen camper that we've had and have not had issues with broken dishes, etc. Just pack everything properly and you won't have an issue.

I have an outside kitchen on mine as well and had one on my last one. I love them. As far as the dumping goes, I just slit the difference in between the two drains and use on hose. Switching them after each pipe is done, saving the most gray water for the last one. Only draw back, is that it takes longer to dump. But at that point, I am usually resisting going home anyway!
As far as dishes getting tossed around, nothing has ever moved in the rear kitchen. However, we do use non-skid stuff under everything on the countertop. But nothing else has ever moved.

That is one awesome floorplan.

This is what I've done for my kitchen grey tank


The main drain is so far forward that I have to use 2 drain hoses, if the sewer drain is near the rear in a "back in" site.
