Reese goosebox

As anyone tried the Reese Goosebox? I think it is a new product. They say that if you have a gooseneck ball you can use the Goosebox and it won't void your frame warranty like a gooseneck adapter will.

I read an article that Lippert said it was great to use it on Lippert frames. My one big question would be, has Lippert done anything to ensure their frames have quit cracking and tearing on their fifth wheel models? It sure gets real quiet when you ask that question. The Forest River line as well as all others that use a Lippert frame on any fifth wheel will never get me to buy one until they say what is being done to fix what seems to appear as a frame problem.

Regards

Hob

Yeah, I just bought a 2012 sandpiper 365saq and didn't know about the frame problems. I have been doing a lot of research on lippert frames but haven't found anything that says they have changed anything. I think I am going to use the Goosebox but would like to hear someones experience with one.

Has anyone noticed, when the Lippert frame problems with the 5th wheels are mentioned all you hear from the factory people (Forest River or Lippert) are crickets chirping?

Reese Goosebox

SabreSam,

Yes sir, we did speak about this. I did appreciate your time. I thought maybe this was posted before I talked to you. If not, you have my most sincere apologies.

By the time I posted this about the crickets, I had given another rep. a seven day window and he hadn't answered me. He still hasn't answered me. I will be taking that into consideration if and when I do decide to buy a fifth wheel from Forest River. It won't be in the line he handles.

Best Regards,

Hob
