RV Park recommendations-Orlando Mid March

Cathy and I need to be in Orlando for business mid-March. We would love to take the Trilogy. Any recommendations?

Disney's campground is Fort Wilderness and is really nice (I'm actually there now). BUT- it can be hard to get into and is expensive.

Outside of here, there are a ton of parks in the area. I am a Thousand Trails member and will stay at TT Orlando in Clermont.

I've also stayed at Lake Magic, also in Clermont. It was decent.

I have friends who stay at Tropical Palms and like it.

And finally, there is a state park that I've heard good things about- Lake Louisa; and a county park that I've also heard good things called Bill Frederick at Turkey Lake. Both are quite inexpensive if you can get in.

Thank You, "ependydad" & "heavynlori"!
We were able to get into Lake Magic. This is our longest roll, with our Trilogy. And since we had short notice to plan, we appreciate your suggestions.

Post or PM me your dates that you'll be there. I'm bouncing around a few central Florida parks from now until April. I might be close and can come say 'howdy'.

Kissimmee, FL

The FROGS just had a rally in Kissimmee, FL. Which is right in the suburbs of Orlando. Easy in and easy out to Orlando.

Whippoorwill KOA is a very nice park; just a little tight as are most commercial parks. Moss Park is a county park with lots of space, trails, lakes; no sewer hookups but dump station.

Quiet country setting?

We have been at Wekiva Falls Resort since January 10th, nice rural setting west of Sanford but close enough for most creature comforts. Planning to come back next winter. Monthly rate is $549 plus tax for the regular lots.

I have stayed at both. The sites at Magic Lake are a little tight to get into. The sites at Thousand Trails Orlando (on RT 27N) are larger and easier to get into.
Enjoy your trip.

We have stayed at Moss Park, very near the Orlando air port. Lots of wild life and convenient dump on the way out of the park. Not expensive and often openings. You see some of Florida you won't generally see in other parks. Not a lot of concrete and amenities.
We have also stayed in the Winter Gardens RV Park out towards Clermont. Right on highway 50. Lots of traffic, good access to the turnpikes and limited access highways. Back roads to Disney are easy to find and follow. People used to be friendly -- last time we were there was 2010. Things change and no guarantees it is the same but generally good bunch of people. Generally lots of spaces.

Our Rockwood Signature Ultra Lite TT will be parked in Wekiwa Springs State Park, Apopka, Fl. from March 28 until April 11 if there are any FROGS that want to say hi. This will be our second time there. Awesome SP.
