While I keep my fiver at home, a small ranch in SE Texas, I keep the power on and ACs set on 80 F. It gets very hot and humid here.

I was told by someone that TT do not have trickle chargers and to not leave them plugged in, others have said no problem.

We rotate every other week unless we know we are going out then I'll leave it plugged in and the fridge running

I do not plug TT in until a day or so before heading out, but I do have a battery tender (TM) hooked to the battery ( still installed in TT) that is plugged in whenever the TT is not connected to shore power.

If you leeave the battery fully charged with the negative post disconnected there is ZERO need to plug in more than once every couple of months for a day to re-charge. Fully charged batteries disconnected will lose 10-15% a month making even 3 months of non use, not a problem. Your batteries will also last longer if they get an occasional bulk charge rather than a constant trickle.
