The only place in Slidell I'm familiar with is Champion Trailer Parts Supply
, but I don't see the self-adjusting brakes on their site.
I know self adjusting brakes have been around sense studebaker developed them in the 40's, but they haven't seemed to make it to the travel trailer industry. i'm worndering why...i have to be missing something here.
Years ago, the majority of trailers, with electric brakes, are not towed daily. So, the demand for self-adjusting brake almost didn't exist. As more and more trailers are being used daily, the manufactures can now justify building/marketing them.
