Setting journey electric brake

I have a 39 ft Cardinal 3625 RT and a Journey electric system. I keep burning my front rotors on my F250. I currently have the power set at 4.5 and ramp speed at 3.8. What power/speed adjustments should I make to apply more braking to the camper before truck brakes start kicking in?

Thanks, T-Man

I set my trailer brakes where they will slide on pea gravel or loose rock. Do not want them to slide on pavement but hold good. Last time I checked you could get a complete braking system for two axles for around 250 to 300. New backing plate to the shoes or drum.

IMO they put them there make them work and replace if necessary. Never had to yet with 7 years all over the eastern half of US. Cheaper than truck brakes and if truck brakes go out your screwed. Learn or get a controller that works for you.

Also make sure the trailer brakes are properly adjusted or a waste of time.
