Shower Drain Leak

My shower leaks and filled the underbelly with water. I think it must be from the drain to the pipe going to the tank. I hear this is a Forest River thing that happens a lot.

To drain the water the underbelly was sliced.

Any idea how big a job this is to fix it and any idea of cost?

I want to sell it but don't know should I fix it or discount the price to the buyer.

Thanks!

I don't think that it is a FR thing or even that it happens often.
As far as fixing, it could be as simple as tightening the collar on the p-trap, or it could be a more expensive repair. No way of knowing until you actually look at it.
As far as fixing, or selling as is at a discount, that is entirely up to you and a prospective buyer.
Most plumbing water leaks are not that expensive to repair.

Some pluming items have an access door(screwed on) and sometimes from underneath. Might look to see if you can see/access. As NM said most aren’t expensive just maybe hard to get to.

Your unit is 2017, so I doubt it's FR , could be I had a collar leak on one of the double sinks in my galley, never really noticed it, when I found it the collar wasn't even stewed to the drain, no way that unscrewed but it held for a year with no leaks. After enough bouncing around it came out causing a big leak not a drip that was never noticed. On this forum alone in the last month there has been at least 3 leaks, shower and sink drains. So it's not that it is not common. More then likely you could find it going though your storage area. Plumbing is pretty well exposed, at least it was in a Rockwood 8289 5er. If your handy fix it, hard to say how much to discount a unit without knowing what's the repair it will be. Could be 15 min job or a 2 HR job. Why you selling your unit? Hope your moving up to SOB, let's say PROVOST, good luck on the sale.
