Shower Head When Travelling
I searched the forum and couldn't seem to find any info on this. When we picked up our travel trailer during the PDI we saw the shower head was just hanging in the shower. The guy from the dealership said that they fall out of the hooks when driving so they recommend that you just let it hang any time you're driving somewhere. Seems like it would bounce around and bang into the shower walls a lot in that case. I couldn't find anything in the manual about this. Was wondering if maybe this just isn't really a thing to worry about and I should just put the shower head in the bracket that holds it. If it is a real issue, maybe there is a way to secure it instead of just letting it dangle.
Heading out for our first trip soon and would appreciate any advice on this.

I think the guy from the dealership was lazy. I would hang it where it should go. If it falls during travel you can work on a way to secure it better. We have not had the shower head fall on 2 different trailers in over 18,000 miles of travel.

Ours always hangs on the wall in its normal hanger. We have NEVER found it dangling straight down.

If yours in fact does not stay put I would secure it rather than let it dangle. Sounds like the guy is a knucklehead to me. FYI, I'm on my third rig and never had this issue once either.

Travel with it in the holder,if it comes out, place a rubber band around the head and holder! That being the Shower head! Rear bath units "Might" dislodge shower heads more than Front or Mid Bathrooms, only Roads and Time will tell! Youroo!!

A good sales person will 'always' have an answer....
... even if it's made up.
Don't let it dangle , use the proper holder.

I replaced ours with a better shower head that has a longer hose. It just lays on the floor when traveling.

I use a short bunge cord to keep it in place.

We use a Velcro strap normally used to tie up cables. Got them at Lowe's or Menards. Have never had shower head come loose when using this

In the 5 years we've owned the 5th wheel, never had velcro/rubber bands/anything else in place to keep the shower head on it's own holder. It has never dislodged itself either. I'm not sure what kind of jolt it would take to dislodge it, but I believe that there would be a lot more substantial damage to the trailer than just the shower head if it became dislodged - it would be the least of my worries at that point.
I wonder what kind of roads the salesman is used to travelling down where his becomes free hanging? I don't think I could buy used from him...

Shower wand while traveling
My 2016 Cruise Lite's wand HOLDER did not stay in the wall. I always traveled with the wand in the holder until this unit's pulled right out of the wall. I needed some anchors as it was screwed in to the wall board without any other means to keep it in place.

I put a Velcro strap around the hand held part and the cradle. I've never had a problem with the hand held head coming loose.

I've always taken the hose out of the round eyelet before the shower head and then laid it on the floor when driving.
