Sleeper Couch

Has any adult ever tried to sleep on the couch that converts into a bed and still has the armrest on either side? I tried to sleep on the thing last week and there was no way I could lay on the thing without having the lower half of my legs hanging in mid-air. I'm 5 foot 9 and the way I see it the only people that can sleep on that thing are either midgets or kids.

We've had our 6 year old sleep on it when the in laws were camping with us but that is about the extent of the usefulness as a "bed"

You got that right. Last week when I went fishing with my buddy who stayed overnight I thought I'd be courteous and let him have the bed and I'd sleep on the couch, that isn't happening again. next time I'll sleep in the recliner
