Slide seal??(always told no question is a stupid question)

As far as I can tell my slides have 3 seals, outer, middle, inner (not certain about the middle one but it sure looks like there's something in there. I sprayed dry silicone to help protect them, now as I put the slide in and out the outer seal doesn't completely roll out and lay flat on the horizontal and vertical surfaces. I find myself crawling up the sides and roof and pulling the seals out. My Keystone only had one slide and I never had that problem when I lubed the seals. Is this common?

I think the silicone is too slippery for the seal to have enough friction to roll out on the slide. Eventually it should start working as intended again.
And the only stupid question is the one not asked.
