Thank you for all of the insight on this topic.

What I find interesting now is that most of the replies to this thread show that most people deploy the slide first, however the poll results show the opposite.

True. I voted for stabs down then slide out. I've been doing it this way since 2004 and have no reason to change, it's always worked great for me. I don't think you can go wrong either way really.

X2 - our trailer drops 1/2 inch on the slide side after opening both slides. We did stabs first once and the bathroom door was off kilter so I know the frame was twisting slightly. So it is always slides then stabs for us when setting up and stabs then slides when leaving.
