I could not be more happier with my slider. The first trip with a regular hitch and I dented my cab missing the window by a quarter inch.

I was told I didn't need one as well! Bad advise first gas station I pulled into I put a dent in my cab missing my back window bye a 1/4 inch...I didn't even have it cranked.... Now I have a slide back! Better too have it and not need it! I need it!

You may not need a slider with your current camper, but....what happens if you trade and the new one doesn't have the rounded nose? It may be crunch time as it was with ours.

Holy Schnikes! A lot of folks hitting cab with camper!

Curious, did any of you also ding a rear bumper when you pulled a tongue pull trailer of any type?

Not pulling it, but I did back into it one time parking at a CG where we were already set up.....
