Tank Roof Vent Questions

I am fairly certain that the two larger (~3") vents on the roof are for the two black tanks. Both of which I need to replace the cover/cap. One is missing and one is cracked, moldy, and on its last legs.

1) Can I place a new vent cover, like the Cyphon or Shark, on-top of the current vent? Or, do I need to remove all caulk, take out old, and screw in new with new caulk etc?

2) In the picture, you will see an outline of something that the previous owner had on the roof, OVER the black tank vent. There are NO screw holes or anchors in the roof, so I am thinking it was 'attached' to the black tank vent?? Maybe a satellite dish?

3) Is it common for CC to run a tank vent pipe with 90-degree bends? And not a straight pipe up a wall to the roof? This vent in the picture is not located above a wall...therefore must bend inside the roof cavity towards a wall, and then down?

I'd love to just replace the top of these vent caps, as the caulk and sealant around the base is done real well.

Thanks for the help!!

Those are attic vents not tank vents. The smaller vent in the second pic is a tank vent. You will need to find replacements for your attic vents

Get out, seriously?!
For the life of me, I cannot find these online for sale!
Any ideas of where to look?

And if these are attic vents, that means rain water has been getting inside the 'attic' for a long time?!

Thank you Grumpy!!
I called Forest River...NEVER thought of that and figured they wouldn't help...but they are sending me two of these 'mushroom vents' at $5 a piece!

Now just need to get home and cover the open vent from the rain!
Still cant figure out what the previous owner had on the roof in this location...right over the vent.
