Been reading some of the stories about the tires FR trailers come with. My rockwood has the power towing trail express tires which are said to essentially be crap. How many miles have you guys got out of these tires? The trailer is new and we have only taken one trip near home so far. Two more trips this year with total mileage around 1000. Would these tires be okay for the rest of this year?

I don't think anyone can guarantee you good or bad luck with tires.

I can't help but believe that a vast majority of people have these tires and don't have issues. That's not saying that people don't - I, for one, did have 3 or 4 major bubbles form on my tire- only 1 visible. The tire guy that mounted my new tires described it as "a major manufacturing defect". I got lucky. I was at about 4,000-4,500 miles on my tires before this appeared.

However, if you have only 1 trip and another 2 for 1,000 miles- I'd do it.
