Tow mirrors

I have a question and I'm looking for some advice. My TV is a 05 Toyota Sequoia and I need to find some tow mirrors for it, has anyone ever used the kind that strap on with rubber like straps ?

I used them on my 02 tundra. Worked fine but I didn't like putting on and taking off. Found the cheapest at a uhaul store, oddly enough. $14.00. There are after market tow mirrors to replace you sequoia mirrors. I ordered some for my 08 tundra. Look and work like original.

Yeah I was going to recommend the CIPAs as well, but it looks like they don't offer them for an 05 yota, just start at 07. Not sure if there was a change or not? I had them on my old suburban and they were great.

Do the CIPA slide on mirrors. I had them for my previous Silverado and a new set for the new Silverado. Easy on/easy off and the perfect size.

Have used the slide on style as well on our Chevy Silverados and on the GMC Sierras....have always worked fine with a snug fit.

We use the CIPA mirrors. A little bit of a pain to put on but love the ability to see down the side.

CIPA mirrors

We've used the type you have posted and my hubby likes them. they aren't too much of a pain when you have to put on/remove.

I used Fit System 3891 Deluxe Universal Clip-on Trailer Towing Mirror (Amazon) for two vacations last year and they worked fine.

Here's the slide-on for your Sequoia. I have similar on my Silverado.

Work great.

Tow and see by camco. Lighter, giving a higher occilation frequency and better image. Vacuum attach to existing mirror face , giving possibly electric adjustment. Lanyard to prevent loss. Smaller and easier to stow. Easier to attach.

We used the rubber strap on type on our old armada and had no issues for the 1 season we towed with that TV.

I use the Longview CTM4000 from etrailer.com on my 06 Tundra. I have replaced the attachment "hardware" (threaded plastic fittings) with a nylon strap that works much better for me. The supplied fittings allowed slippage during use.

I've had my strap on, on for five years. Yes it does take time to get them right but I do not have problems leaving them on...

JR Products 2912 Grand Aero Towing Mirror

Grand Aero Mirror - Convex Glass
Wind tested up to 240 mph for vibration and security
Fold back tested up to 160 MPH
Mirror glass is 8.5 inches in height by 6 inches in width

I purchased these from Amazon. I like them because I can take them on and off very easy and fast! They do the job I need traveling and parking.

Not sure if would work but you could check and see if the tow mirrors from a Tundra may fit. You wold get a good fit and adjustable .
