Trip/tires and rude campers

Two weekend ago I was camping at state park and there were a bunch of 20 somethings who rented two cabins. Quiet hours are 9 pm to 8 am. At 10:45 I walked over by the wash house and got a brochure that gave all the rules of the park including quiet hours. I approached their roudy obnoxious fire gathering and passed them the brochure and said you may want to read this it is way past quiet hours. Never heard a peep after that.

I have no problem with someone out around the fire talking normal but when they are running around very loud and obnoxious I have a problem. I usually do not say anything until 10:45 or 11 since I am up till then.

I don't think people have spacial awareness and know how their actions and noise effects other people.

At least in PA state parks the park ranger is only a phone call away and they will enforce etiquette or the offenders will be sent packing.

There is a local campground that did the same thing and we quit going. Shame too because it is a nice park on the intercoastal waterway, but now it's lit up like the Walmart parking lot.

Not a problem ~~ actually like it when I take the dogs out late. Mostly because when I pull the shades it is nearly dark even in the daylight.

Different strokes for different folks
I love sitting outside, enjoy the night sky, and just sit in the calm that tends to happen in the dark. And You dont see many stars with light pollution

When we go camping, I just want the glow of the campfire. I miss it dearly when stuck in the city working. Soon I'll be enjoying that oh so wonderful glow more.
