Two Black Water Tanks -- Questions

I have a question about black tanks in my forest river 3901 fifth wheel.
I apparently have (2) black tanks.
How does the second one come into play? Is it for a washer hook up or does it take an overflow when the first one is full.
I have no info telling me.

You probably have two grey tanks as your trailer only has one toilet. Your total grey tanks are 90 gallons, black tank 50 gallons...

Your W/D would Not go to the Black tank.that would be a Mess! The amount of water needed to use the washer and discharge will require a FHU site! Only 1 bath and a 50 Gal black tank, but a 90 Gal gray would lead me to believe you have 2 Gray tanks and 1 Black tank! This is all a "WAG" as all units have hidden Surprises! Youroo!!

You could always start dumping water down one drain at a time, watch the lights, and answer your own question

It is my GUESS that your unit has a control panel that's common to several trailers including some with 2 black tanks (probably with 2 toilets). Can't say for sure... but I'm guessing you'll never see lights come on for one of the black tanks.

youroo is asking how many places under the trailer do you have to connect sewer hose(s).

One sewer line hookup.
Both black tanks buttons have lights that work.

OK. Is there a single light burning for each black tank or are there multiple lights burning for either black tank?

Just got back from 21 day trip.
We had four lights on the tank that i call #1
We have always had one light on the #2 tank.

As it sits now all tank lights are at the empty or (E)

Battery has four lights or (F)

OK, now I'm GUESSING again (and maybe an RV control board expert will jump in) but I'm guessing the bottom light for any function will burn merely because that light is in the control board - even if there are no sensors in the trailer that would light the top three lights. Your statements "We had four lights on the tank that i call #1
We have always had one light on the #2 tank." make me GUESS you have sensors in tank one and they are hooked to the control board BUT that you have NO tank 2 (nor sensors for it). My "final answer" is that you have one black tank.
