Used Fifth Wheel ?

Where do you live? If you are close to Florida, there are tons of good used RVs for sale at various places - many specializing in consignment sales of RVs. Check out the RV Swapshop in Summerfield, FL. they are next to CW and have as many RVs for sale as CW, just used. Many of the snowbirds sell theirs while they are still relatively new rather than store them or tow em home. Many upgrade after they get here so they want to sell the current one. Swap Shop goes through them pretty well, and repairs anything needed. I have used them to sell one of my 5ers some years ago and now they have expanded a bunch. They have anything you would want. I am sure there are other similar places in high traffic vacation or snowbird spots.

Whichever they decide on, you may consider an inspection by a certified inspector to locate areas of concern. Hate to see then get their dream fifth wheel and it be a lemon.

That's a joke, but there's a nugget in there. What I've seen is that many truly well-kept 5th wheels used, are like used trucks..........they cost a mint. Folks expect to recoup too much, I think.

We looked at local dealers, and their price for new ones was outrageous. We found a Wholesale Dealer in Ohio that sold them far less (we saved $26,000), so buying new was almost cheaper than buying used.

Just be careful. That said, there are probably TONS of great used ones out there. Take your time.
