Weight Calcs

I have found a tow vehicle candidate for our SP 35Loft Treehouse.

Treehouse numbers from the dealer
GVWR: 14,256
"Hitch Weight" (kingpin weight?): 2,256

TV Candidate: 2006 F350 Lariat, DRW, 4x4

My first round of numbers at Changing Gears

I think I did it wrong; I put the same number in the calculator for GVWR and "Tow Vehicle GVW:" 6997, which I got here at ford-trucks.com (not an official website, I know), but I got the message that GVW is equal or greater than GVWR. This vehicle can not tow a trailer because that will cause GVWR to be further exceeded. Obviously used the wrong number somewhere. Should I have used the 13,000 pound "Max GVWR" from the ford-trucks website for the first GVWR entry on the calculator?

Here's the Ford Fleet specs for the 2006 F350. According to the dealer, the truck comes with a 4.10 axle and the 6.0 diesel. I don't have a hitch picked out yet, so I don't know what that weight will be.

My gut tells me this truck will suit us, but I want to have the numbers right to make sure.
