Towed from sea level to 8,400 ft and set up camp in Big Bear, CA. Low is 39 tonight so the furnace is getting a work out!

Trailer is in hibernation at the storage yard. Changed the oil in the TV and took the hitch out for the winter.... Artic blast of -10 to -20 predicted for next week!

Pulled it home from Canton, unloaded laundry that needs washing and food from fridg. Backed it into its slot at the storage yard, now to clean it up and get it ready for the next trip to So Texas in a couple of weeks.

Brought it to the dealer to fix a small issue with the gray and galley water valves. I also figured out how to set up a directv system.

1. Lippert Waste Master storage box
2. Reinforced Pads installed on Stab Jacks
3. FINALLY got OC's Tray in the basement (Front panel taken out to complete staining but I MAY leave it out - kinda opens up some storage options!)

Found my anti siphon valve/vacuum behind a shower wall I can't see how the Pink stuff will help that piece of plastic junk. It just fills my Black water tank. Now I know where it is and if I see a leak I will know where it is coming from JUST PLAIN STUPID OF FR> just my opinion of course but how do you get to it? Impossible by pulling the shower faucets. I love FR but don't get me wrong they do some STUPID STUFF.

Topped off batteries

Installed Water Filter by-pass mod
http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...mod-71348.html

Shut down all power except converter and plugged into a timer (runs 4 hours a day to keep the batteries warm)

and put the cover over her until next year....

Unloaded the trailer after our weekender to Medoc Mountain State Park. The campground is clean and had a decent bathhouse. Only 12 sites have electric. This time of year I don't mind using the water tank since we don't use a lot of water anyway. The overnight temp on Friday was in the low/mid 30's (F) but not below freezing at the site. This gave us a chance to try out the portable electric heater. It heated the TT very well except for the few minutes I ran the gas furnace to warm up the floor Saturday morning (cold toes).

Re stocked the rv with clean towels, bed sheets and blankets and clothes for our next trip on the 24th. Also drained fresh water tank, water heater and lines at there low points. Pulled water filter replaced empty canister and blew out lines. Removed and emptied filter can again, was 1/2 full after blowing out lines. Also removed small screen bowl from suction side of the pump. Removed, emptied and reinstalled 3 P traps. Now ready for the big freeze we "might" be getting here in the Dallas area next week. Took about an hour now I can sleep. Should be close to 80º here tomorrow, the plan is to pull the RV to the truck wash and let them give her a bath. Tuesday the bottom is predicted to drop out of the thermometer and get down below freezing Thursday and Friday. Very early for this cold in this area, gotta love Texas.
