We did the same thing in our 5er a month ago. We used the 3M "hook and loop"...not Velcro...one side on the flashlight, one on the wall. Velcro would probably damage the wall when removed.
I went out just now and replaced the only incandescent light bulb (in the lamp on the table between the recliners) with one of those high dollar "forever" light bulbs. It's perfect, homey with a 40 watt "warm white" glow.
Considering what I paid for that bulb, it'd better outlast ME!
DH is a perpetual snacker, so I picked up a small brushed nickel trash can to put behind that same table. Otherwise there'd be a perpetual wad of candy wrappers *on* that table.
I think I want to put battery powered puck lights in the ceilings of the wardrobe and the shirt closet on the left side of the bed.
One more (custom this time) vinyl wall quote for the bedroom, and I'm officially done with the personal touches to make it uniquely ours. This one will be in the Cherokee language. Grandmother would be proud.

I used a string of the ribbon led lights in our pantry and wired them to a micro switch so they go out when the door is closed and on when it is opened. Works great and no batteries. I think I still have 4 puck lights I bought, installed and removed for the ribbon lights.

Once again, I WISHED my camper were out of storage. We're supposed to have MORE snow starting tomorrow evening. It was really decent today, even with the winds.
I'm so sick of snow and winter.

Actually got mine out of storage today!!!!! Of course it is just sitting in the driveway, but I plan on opening it up tomorrow while we are getting more snow! Leave for the first trip of the year to warmer weather in a week!

Wow, 72 here in Wake Forest NC today. Had to help my son with his new deck this morning. But this afternoon I put the finishing touches on a light, 110v & 12v receptacle in the front storage bay.

While I feel fortunate to have had less snow and cold than my relatives in Bureau Co, IL, I still can't wait to get the Flagstaff on April 12th. I've got about a half-dozen mods I want to do before the first trip in May.

What does the micro switch look like and how does it work with the door?

You mount it on the door frame with a small pc of alum angle and the door depresses the switch. Here is one with a roller, but they come with just a flat blade also. They are just small push button switches.

Got the outlet added below the door side window. Now have to make the molding for the wall/floor/cabinet. Have to cover TOWTA's car first or else it will get dusty. Can't put it outside as it's raining.

Great idea! The DW and I have been looking for a way to organize electronics in the house and the camper. Going to have to show her this!

Sorry about the sideways picture. I had a 50% chance of getting right.
