We attempted to sanitize the fresh water system. I started a whole new thread about it. :P

Installed a couple of three way valves and the plumbing necessary to bypass the water filter housing when winterizing.

Nope, I'm a still photographer. I work for a small paper local to me and they hook me up with media credentials to various things.

Fixed a major design problem with the fresh water tank vent. The factory ran the vent straight down so it would siphon out a lot of the water. I rerouted it up through the floor and attached it to the vent connection next to the fill spout. I have no idea why the factory didn't do this to begin with (like every other camper I've owned/seen).

Thank you, the idea actually came from this thread.

I used treated deck rail slats for a spacer between the frame and the PVC fence posts. Did use the perforated steel bars for underneath. All Thread holds it all together.

I also found with more than two fence posts that bungees don't hold the middle fence post caps on well. I made some small dowels from oak and used a key ring on the bottom and hitch pins on the top.

Still looking for the proper sized plastic or fiberglass rod. The gutter used for slide out trays works great.

Loaded food and put the fridge on for cold items. Leaving Wednesday AM.

What did I do to my camper today? I woke up in it and made coffee. Our last trip for the season. I love this camper. Off to the outlet mall later.

Good job in the electric jack install!

My only complaint with the upgrade was that my truck tailgate can not longer be opened all the way with the trailer hooked up.

Today I went out to the storage lot and pulled out the RV, opened up the slides and checked things over pretty good. All the seals had been recently conditioned, dry lubed the slide gears and went up on the roof to inspect the caulking. Tested the furnace operation along with 1/2 filling the water tank and tested the water heater and fridge. Checked torque on all the wheels including the truck along with air pressures. Checked propane tanks, one still full the other weighed only 34#, had it topped off, took 5 gallons. Turned off the propane and backed it back into it's slot. You guessed it, getting ready for a trip. About all that's left to do is load clothes for cooler weather, food and pet stuff. Going to try and pull out either Sunday or Monday morning. Now that the pets are doing about as good as they are going to we decided on another trip. Two choices we have are Branson MO or Memphis TN, the choice is left to the DW. Both are right at 500 miles one way.

One deciding factor me was puck mounts second was the single jaw mechanism. Seems more secure to me.
