Went Tailgating

Went to see my SC Gamecocks lose another game that they should have won. Tough season thus far. But, I did get to use the 5'er and had fun with a bunch of folks. I can tell you this, if I had not had OC's awning support poles I would not have been able to use the awning the entire weekend. We had gust in the 20 knot range and once I deployed the poles, I was golden. None of my neighbors could put their awnings out. It was cold and windy but we still had a good time. I also used OC's Tailgater mount, and step extension. Thanks OC for these great mods.

Ever been to Edisto Beach before? Beach side or the Oaks?

Enjoy. We have been there several times, both sides. I am sure you know to bring your own water. The last time we went, the tap water had significantly more salt taste that previous trips. Happy Camping.

We go to the Fire Department and get the water. Reverse osmosis doesn't work to well with treating the water

Installed three LED reading lights in my FR3. One over each front seat and one for upper bunk. Snaking wires took way too long but it looks great and will be very handy. Today we dump the bad stuff, fill up with all the good stuff, blow out the water lines and put her up for the winter.

Left Graceland yesterday afternoon headed for Little Rock. Started raining pretty good on the way. Camped at KOA north of Little Rock yesterday afternoon and still here today. Will spend another night here before heading south, got a pretty good rain going on. In the morning weather permitting we will chart a course for Canton Tx.

Just dropped off Rocky at the dealer today. She was bought new but had been on the lot for about a year so my dealer said the awning needed to be replaced under warranty (even though it looked fine to me). So they are installing that. Also, when we did our walk-through, the technician had a hard time opening the exhaust vent outside because when it was installed they got glue on the part that opens. He did get it open but the left side broke....so they ordered a new one from Forest River.
Both of those are free....I also ordered an awning to cover my slide (which is over 12-feet wide) and they are installing that...around $650 but includes installation so I didn't think that was too bad a price.
That reminds me..I need to order another set of Pro-tech awning covers for the new one...I love the one I got for the main awning.

Glad they're replacing it, but don't be surprised if the new one is also hard to open. My left side is almost impossible - I don't even bother locking it anymore. I've seen other people on the forum say they have similar issues.

Just ordered the Steadyfast stabilizer system to replace my Ultrafab Eliminators. We'll see how it goes and if it makes an improvement.

Put water back in after the freeze we had a week ago, cut a chunk off an old hose so that I could purge the air out of the washer lines in the closet. Just screw it on and put it down the drain, much neater than letting it spray into a cup.

Started rearranging the basement, since adding two EU2000i gensets to the mix I need to move a few things around in there. I'm hitting the road for one last trip the week before Thanksgiving and frankly can't wait.

Here for a second night in Canton, great place. Mill Creek Ranch in Canton, tx is the name of the park that we are at, a real nice place to camp if you find yourself in the area. Today we let out the awnings so they could dry out after all that rain in Little Rock and gave the RV a good cleaning. Flushed tanks getting ready for our final 2 1/2 hour drive home tomorrow. In all we clocked 1,148 miles and burned 108 gallons of premium fuel with about 110 miles to home. Gotta get her ready for a trip to so Texas for Thanksgiving.
