I blow out first to remove the majority of the water as to not dilute the antifreeze. I use the pump to pump the antifreeze in.

I do 60-80 psi when taking showers and open Gerry valve then turn pressure back to 45 for everything else lets me take a better shower and 6 gal HWH works well for 2 quick adult showers

Some of you are talking about how much air pressure you use to blow water out of lines during winterizing. Others are talking about how much water pressure you allow in city water lines while you are taking a shower / not taking a shower. I'm sure this is helpful to newbie winterizers.

I did go out and turn the furnace blower on and the EdenPure electric heater, opened the door wide open on the heat duct to let air circulate in the basement as it is forecast to get down to 20° here tonight and for the next several nights. Switch on furnace blower sure is handy.

Ah yes got my PSI mixed up...lol
I do blow out my lines at 40 PSI Shasta said good amount of pressure but water lines can handle temp increases but never exceed 40 psi when using an air compressor

I don't think it will go "bad" especially if it's a new sealed gallon.

A-yep, we did about the same thing OC.
We found a couple of oil heaters that have "freeze settings" on them. We keep them on and in the rig all winter long - as long as the ambient temperature in the rig is 40-ish they stay off. Handy for us, because it is not beyond us to decide to take the rig out for a winter jaunt in Jauuary - this IS Alabama after all

Finally picked it up from the dealer after the finished the warranty work. Got back to storage and now my water pump isn't working. Guess I'll be working on that tomorrow.

Cool & sunny so, I pulled EVERYTHING out of the storage bay to sweep/vacuum and reorganize. Got half way thru sweeping/vacuuming, and it starts to rain.......threw everything back in for another day!!!!

Brought mine home from the storage lot and put some heat in it for the freezing temps we are expecting tonight and the next few days. I will be installing the rear view camera once temps come back up.

Installed a drain on the water filter canister. Drilled, tapped and screwed in a 1/8" MPT angle valve. I put it on the side because the filter assembly already sits so close to the floor under the cabinet. Now for the bypass mod thats still in the planing stages. Looks like plenty room above it behind the drawers.

Which one did you use, and do you have any pics? Was thinking of doing the same thing.
