finally got a warm enough weekend to go to the campsite and dewinterize and open the trailer. wife cleaned and organized the inside and i worked on the outside. i really wanted to power wash the roof, but i think i'll save that job for a warmer,(above 55 ) weekend. one job i was excited to do was to install the LED strip on the trailer under the awning. wiring and install went well except that when i was finished, the lights didn't work !. seems that the remote receiver for these lights are polarity sensitive. since i wired them into the 12v step light all i had to do was to switch my wiring. once i did that they worked like a charm.
then there is the mouse issue,(saw droppings but no mouse). that is my next project........to find where they are getting in !

I installed the brackets I ordered from OC, bought two of the four polls I needed. Last two Lowes had. Painted the polls to match the brackets and awning supports. Waiting for the earth anchors to come in that i ordered, already have the ratchet straps.

Interested in the bathroom one. Is it brushed nickel? Where & how much? If you don't mind.

Which awning support did you go with and what are your thoughts on its functionality?
I'm still debating on which one to get for my TT.

Put screens on anywhere I thought mud dobbers could slip in to. Put bandaids on my fingertips from all the small cuts after.

Greased the chassis and wheel bearings. Found a nail in a tire. I'll deal with that in the morning. We don't leave this resort till Monday.

80 here in NC with pollen clouds rolling across the landscape.
1. Had guy with mobile scales way the rig since I lowered the FW hitch. Weight is distributed almost perfect now.
2. De-winterized it while it was in the driveway near the house.
3. Installed new Oxygenics shower head
4. Installed new step carpet
5. Installed insect screens on fridge and furnace (have an issue with the water heater screen).

Prepping for first trip of the season to the OBX of NC in couple of weeks.

HAHA...They are my next project OC. I'm watching everyone to see which poles seem to be used the most and appear to work best. Then I'll go get some poles and install "OC's Awning Saving Pole Kits".

I spent several hours washing her, I'm here to tell you it's a big job, and even bigger when you are short.

Well HALLELUJAH, congratulations. I know, it's only been a year and you didn't want to rush into it!
