Have a bigger flag for our real flagpole at home this is just for the camper light weight and compact.

After a long winters sleep the dinette slide would not open; the gearbox clutch just slipped. No problemo; just use the override crank to get it moving, right?

Wrong, the manual crank extension was rusted at the motor attachment (could not see that with the CorePlast belly covering) and it snapped right off.

<sigh>

Measured the old extension and Lippert sells them at the company store (Whoo Hoo!)

Lippert Components RV Accessories|Slide Out Components|Electric and Hydraulic Slide Out Parts

11.50 shipping <booo>

Came in two days <whoo Hoo - worth the 11 bucks.

Cranked it open lubed the seals and the rack tracks. Installed a new cotter pin and the new extension stub; it works like a champ.

Hardest part of the job was dropping and installing the belly panel.

Youroo, is it a solar light or electric? I use a solar light, and sometimes it might not stay lit all night, but I try to keep it lit or if I think it's been cloudy all day I just roll it up. But mine also is not flying 25' high. LOOK'S GOOD way up there... Maybe you know with your vast knowledge. I know when I was boating and traveling to different country's. You always flew the Country's Flag on the Yard arm and Our FLAG was on our stern. Is it the same if I went to Canada I would fly old gory but put up a smaller Canadian flag or Mexico out of respect?

I carry (2) LED Floods,(1) is 12V the other is 115V LED. The 12v supply comes from the unit umbilical cord for the TV. Dry camp or wet the USA Flag is illuminated! Youroo!!

Being mounted on the tongue it would be easy to steal 12V power off the trailer plug. You could use two wires and large spades to plug it into the ground and 12V battery charging terminals or you could get the female end and make it as easy as plugging into the truck.

Last Friday, DS and I setup the Equal-i-zer hitch properly. Dealer set it up on unlevel ground when it was unloaded. It definitely tows better now although we could feel the strong winds we had when we headed to the campground Friday afternoon.

We got it to within a 1/2" of level using the bottom holes on the shank (our Rockwood has a bottom-mounted coupler). To get it absolutely perfect I'd need to get a new, longer shank.

Yesterday saw the basement get unloaded and reorganized, the new hammock setup and tested. It's a beautiful thing.

Wasn't all in the same day, but since getting Rocky out of storage on May 4th I have: installed OC awing brackets and poles from Home Depot; checked wheel bearings and brakes; had tires balanced and metal valve stems installed; installed TST 507 Tire Pressure Monitoring system; and removed the water filter from the storage compartment (now mounted on a board/stand outside the trailer).

Also took the unit across the CAT scales (twice) and adjusted the WD bars on the 4-way Equil-I-Zer. Now my front axle weight is within 75 pounds of the unloaded weight.

Next weekend we finally get to go camping!!!

New valve stems and tires balanced Saturday morning.

Discount Tires took 30 min to get the four done, did not have the spare done because when a tire goes two will be replaced if not all four.
