We smoke turkeys throughout the year. I like traditional Eastern North Carolina style pork barbeque but my doctor just won't let me eat it as often as I like so I buy up turkeys seasonally when they are cheap and smoke them to fill in the blanks. I prefer to use hickory for pork and apple for the turkey. I also like to smoke salmon using alder. I start it as I would a Gravlax with a salt, dill and pepper rub and after 6-8 hours I put it on a low heat smoker until done.

We stayed at the Along the River RV Park at Highways 46 and 37. The rear of our trailer was 15-20' from the Bonito (which wasn't so pretty due to rain upriver).

Climbed up on the roof with the Eternabond tape, and patched it, AGAIN. Stupid trees on my street need a trim.

I'd paid $$ to have have a rip repaired and the antenna wire that was ripped out replaced a few months ago. I was up on the roof checking things on the Big Bend trip when I noticed that once again, the antenna wire was missing, and yep, there's another hole. Duct taped it up to hold until we got home yesterday.

Checking to see if Austin will trim those trips up a bit or if I need to do it myself.

Filled the LP tank and added a mirror to back side of wardrobe door for the DW.

Gave it a bath and a good service once over after 7 days of camping in the Smokies! Planning for the next trip!
