Got the Progressive EMS installed finally. Was a real PITA using 8 ga wire instead of the recommended 10 ga. Mounted the unit in the floor cabinet and did all the unit wiring on the bench. Would never have gotten it wired otherwise. Mounted the monitor next to the Propane monitor. Plugged it in expecting smoke, sparks or fire and the only thing that happened is the monitor reads E 0, 122, 60H, 3A. Probably just threw $157 in a rat hole, but with Thousand Trails Orlando having water problems, electrical problems it might save some damage down the road. Had I used the 10ga wire as suggested, it would have been a very simple installation.

I did try to check which of the many wires running around the bedroom vent was suitable for wiring in a new fan vent, but didn't have much success (mostly because it was too hot in there without a fan or AC for me to be in there more than a few minutes)
I did try calling Forest River to see if they had a wiring schematic, with wiring colors, that they could send me, but apparently not (despite the fact that they must have such a thing for the factory guys, and the dealership suggesting calling them in the first place).
I'll properly check the wiring when we're camping at the weekend, and we've had some a.c.running for a bit

Ive decided to cut a hole in the wall. Dont know what FR will have to say about it when it goes back in feb,but its just a big sheet of 1/8" plywood. If the person that designed this thing had half a brain they would have put an access door there, but then I have to unscrew and remove a 24" sq piece of wall to get at the waterpump too. That was easy the first time becaues two screws missed the little 5/8 x 1 frame and the other two were stripped out! When I went to put it back I discovered it was 3/4" out of square and only goes in one way!

I'm one of the scoffaws that can't post pics anymore or I would show you which wire I tied into for my Fantastic Fan. So I'll try to describe.
When you pull the white plastic garnish down, you will see about 6 different wires. A red, orange, green, blue, gray, etc. And you will also see a white wire that has a red stripe on 1 side. This is the 1 you will need. Clip the wire, strip back and determine which side is +/-. I used wire nuts and electrical tape. Push excess wire back in the hole.
If I can do it, anybody can do it.
I posted pics back in the early summer of my project and they posted good. Now nothing.
Hope this helps.

Winterized my RV by blowing out the lines with compressed air. Added a little bit of antifreeze to the gray / black tanks and the P-traps. Bought a cover for the RV and installed it last night.

Thanks,
Unfortunately the color coding on yours doesn't look like mine
I don't know if this picture will work correctly, because I can see the preview in my album, but not the full size photo.
You can see (hopefully, if it's visible) that the wires are all pairs with different colors.
I believe from talking to FR that it *should* be the Red/White pair (in my case one wire in the pair is full red, and the other is full white).
The other pairs are all different color combos, and are a little thinner than the red/white pair.
I'll check the supply to that pair over the weekend.
Edit: Apparently I can't post images, or see them properly myself, anymore either.
Anyone know what's up with image posting ?

Went out to the camper and turned on the AC just to see what the EMS would read on startup, voltage went from 122 to 117, amperage from 3A to 15A. Very pleased as it is hooked to a 20A circuit.

Added a reverse switch to my fan so it can suck or blow. Stole the idea from here and all went smoothly and easily.
Also winterized the trailer with air and a bit of the pink stuff in the traps and pump since it will be 29 in the next few nights.

Only problem is you didn't have load on the compressor at 70 degrees and no humidity....

I turned the thermostat down to 60d and the compressor came on and started blowing cold air. Left it on for 10 minutes and it was getting cold inside. Outside temp was 74 degrees.
