Lining up to order 2 sets of Glowstep Revolution steps for the camper. I need to take measurements and pictures for them to figure out which steps for me.

TOWTA orders outside coffee pot to be stored outside
With orders from "Headquarters" I had to find somewhere to store my new outside coffee pot, so I came up with this.

I haven't heard anything about your "weight" problem lately. Did you shed it down to what you wanted? And how much do the new steps weigh in comparison to what you had?

Trip was good, although I think we had the smallest site in the entire park (site 1).
Site was full-hookup, but definitely on the small side for the 33ft fifth wheel. Given the space around the site itself, it could've been much larger (if they'd just cleared an extra couple of shrubs, and moved out the fence that surrounded the site ... not even sure why the fence was there).
Guess that's what we get for booking late, and getting the last site available.
Camped with 2 other families of friends, both with travel trailers, who had sites on the other loop. Both were about twice the size of ours, one with sewer, one without.
Wekiwa is only about 24 miles from our house, so normally don't bother camping there, but it was fun to camp there with friends.
Enjoyed kayaking on Sunday, tho' they didn't have any of the tandem river-style (enclosed) kayaks, so we went with a triple ocean-style (open) kayak, which was okay, except the lack of any back support was cause for some back-ache that evening. (My son had a solo kayak, but my wife doesn't like going solo)

The pin/arm itself is normally fixed relative to the trailer, AND you can normally adjust the height of most (non-slider) hitches, but IIRC the SuperGlide aut-slider hitches may not be height adjustable.
I use a Reese Titan 16K hitch (with an unlocked revolution pin arm on our Rockwood), and you can adjust the height of the Reese hitch (5" height range, with 4 stops)
Why do you need both the Revolution pin-arm, and the auto-slider hitch ?
Reese say not to use the Revolution in a slider hitch (I went through a lengthy process of discussing with them myself, and spent months investigating options when getting my 5er, originally with an F-150 short-bed).
You definitely can't use an auto-slider like the Pullrite with the Revolution arm unlocked, since you'd have two pivot points and the Pullrite relies on the rotation of the pin in order to work, AND you'd end up dangerously unstable.
You could leave the Revolution locked, and use it with the slider, so that you get the length of the revolution arm, in conjunction with the slider, even tho' not recommended by Reese, but you wouldn't get any benefit for turning from the Slider, compared to just using a regular hitch and unlocking the Revolution, since the rotation offset of the Revolution (22") is more or less the same as the Superglide (22 3/4").
Unless you have a super-short (5.5ft) bed I'd suggest using a regular hitch and unlocking the revolution hitch. I have a 6ft9in bed and with the Revolution pin arm unlocked I have plenty of clearance in a regular hitch (would be 9+ inches with the truck at 90 deg to trailer ... if I could actually turn it that sharply)
If you do have a < 6ft bed, then I'd still probably suggest using a regular hitch and unlocking the Revolution, since you should still have quite a lot of clearance for most turns (no less than just leaving the Revolution locked and using the SuperGlide) and just need to be wary on unusually sharp turns.
The only option I considered to give more clearance on a 5.5ft bed was to unlock the Revolution and use it with a manual slider (not possible with an auto-slider), for when making exceptionally tight turns), but I eliminated this as being more hassle than it was worth, especially given how rare those situations are.
Let me know if you have any specific questions, I've been through most of this myself, and know how confusing some of it can be. Good luck !

Thanks for the info, Lee. I live over in Cocoa so that is definitely on the list for weekend jaunts. My wife and I also enjoy kayaking so that will be a huge plus. Again, thanks so much and I'm glad you and your family had such a nice weekend.
Cheers,
Joe

We're actually thinking of heading over to Manatee Hammock campground, near Titusville in the next couple of weeks (haven't booked anything yet), since we've heard good things about it, and it's only 40 mins from us (< 20 mins from storage place), and thought we could take a trip to KSC while staying there, and maybe also go to Playalinda Beach while there (NO, not THAT end of the beach )
