Purchased a building permit for our RV cover. Ground is leveled (sort of) should drill the post holes on Monday. And perhaps I will winterize since it was 28 this morning...

Added 1/4 plywood sheets under cushion of jack-knife sofa. Cut 3 pieces each 1/3 total length +1" each the width of the sofa. Covered one end of plywood each piece with duct tape ( to make installing easier). Slid panel between bottom of sofa cushion and seat supports. Marked improvement in comfort.

disconnected the cabinet heat cable that suppose to control the condensate between the doors on the dometic fridge. Installed a toggle switch on that circuit and tucked it away in the opening that the wires for the heater and fridge light come thru. While at it I replaced the 10 watt bulb with LED. Should reduce current draw by 4+ amps and not drain the battery so much when cooling it down overnight at storage. The bulb not so much draw because it's off unless the door is open but the heat cable was on all the time. Should condensate become a problem I'll flip the switch on. The fridge is in a climate controlled area, condensate should not be a problem.

TOWTA''s mod

I finally finished the mod that TOWTA saw on the internet that she wanted on the 5er. What I thought would be a couple of hours to do ended up taking about 2 days due to the crappy weather. Can turn them off with either the remote or the Aisle light switch. Can also change the colors just like the awning lights. She also suggested covering the risers with carpet which I did.

Got a call from the factory that the repairs are complete. Tomorrow I head down to Goshen and pick it up. Will winterize it and take it to storage Monday. Next time out will be late January and we head to Florida for two months.

All one, just drilled holes at the top (under the tread) and threaded them in and out and up the back to the next step. Started at the top left (kept the connection end out) and threaded the end across the top, down to the 2nd step on the right, across the second step, down the back to the top of the bottom step on the left and across. Then made the electrical connections thru the Aisle step light with the appropriate led remote controller, started at the top step and attached the lights, pull excess and the did the same on the 2nd step and then the third. When I got the 3rd step lights installed, I cut the excess off. I stuck the lights about 1" from the riser so they couldn't be seen. Pictures are not all that great. Still have to get more double sided tape and stick the carpet to the risers as it is just pushed against the risers in the pictures and not attached other than around the central vac outlet.

Flew to our hometown on Tuesday. But on Monday, prepping the camper for storage- I drained the water heater and checked the anode. To my surprise with fulltime use since June, there was still a ton of life left on it. I put it back and taped over the on/off switches to remind me that it is empty.
