Tire balance
I've been reading the blogs and decided it might be a good idea to have the tires balanced. Thanks for the heads up. I didn't beleave how far they were out. New trailer and new ST325/80r16 E rated tires. There is about a 6 to 8 inch strip of weights on 3 out of the tires.

I bought two mats. One for outside and one for inside the door. Our unit comes off the production line in two days. It is getting more and more difficult to wait for delivery!

12vdc plug.
Installed a12vdc outlet in the water hook up box so that the 12v hand held air compressor can be pluged in on either side to reach all tires. Also put a quick water disconnect on the black tank rinse. Found those white knobs were hard to twist.

Hi there OC. I did the same on mine and put a check valve where the hose connects to the system. It gave me a lot more pressure to the sprayers. I have added two more sprayers on the black water tank and still have to flush out the tank 5 or 6 times before it starts to look clean. I'll be trying your Calgon and dawn soap treatment next time.

You'll be amazed at how much that will save you with stuff coming loose or shook off shelves and your tires will wear better for it.

Though that is a lot of weight, a sharp tire shop will break the tire off the rim, turn and reseat the beads and can usually get rid of most of that. My rule of thumb is 3oz per side on truck and trailer tires.

Winterized in a Walmart parking lot in Blytheville AR.
We returned from Dallas area after a long week of freezing temps rain, ice, sleet and snow.
Stopped at Camping World in Little Rock and to pick up some antifreeze so I could winterized before returning home. They were sold out. WHAT, camping world without antifreeze?
We stayed at Tom Sawyer RV park in West Memphis ( right on the bank of the Mississippi River)
We found some antifreeze at the Walmart in Blytheville, so I winterized in the parking lot.
Got home to a foot of snow in the driveway with a 3 foot berm at the end and a 3 foot berm at the entrance to my trailer parking spot, what a mess. Took 2 hours to shovel enough to get the trailer and truck parked.

What a trip!

Mine already had a factory mounted check valve at the hose connection. I still can't understand the necessity of the vacuum breaker and the additional 10' of hose used.
