added supports around heater vents to remove soft floor spots

Soft floor area around the heater vent directly in front of stove made DW unhappy. FR overcut the flooring (when they cut the 4x8 inch vent hole they cut an inch past on all four sides) for heater vent installation. Thus, soft area around heater vent directly in front of range. Added 1/2 inch plywood and two aluminum braces to strengthen the floor area. DW thinks it's better than high heel sneakers. .

Tomorrow I will tackle the soft floor in bathroom caused by same overcut of floor vent heater installation. Supports are further away so will have to devise a different frame support but plan to use 1/2 inch plywood and 1 inch x1/8 inch aluminum angle.

Love the V-Cross but wish FR used a little better installation process.

NOW, if I could just get her to unload about 60% of the dishes/pots/pans, etc. we might get better gas mileage.

She even commented that the camper will never be loaded like that again. (Yea, right, I do recall hearing that last yr and the yr before)

I guess now I will have to unload some of the duplicate/triplicate junk in the front compartment.

That's why she always looks better'n you . :-) :-)

Changed out the standard 16K 5th wheel hitch on the TV today for a 16K slider hitch....hopefully will eliminate some bumping on those tight back ends.

What did you do to your camper today?

I finished the installation of my JT's Strong Arm stabilizers. I'm a tired boy... down and up and down and up... working on a railroad gravel shed floor. Had a little trouble with parts. Does one of these self-tapping bolts look funny? (besides blurry)

Called my dealer and told them I'm coming to get it Thursday, finished or not. They've had it four of the 13 months I've owned it, it's been long enough and I'll just fix it myself and better then they ever will.

I've escalated it to Sierra, I've escalated it to someone higher up in FR without success.

Nothing today, but IF it warms up a little tomorrow, I am going to pull a hub/wheel and pull the cups and cones to check numbers and order some Timken cup/cones & SKF seals. All US made.
