Believe it or not, that's one thing that I don't own. I've used mobile RV techs so far for anything that would have possibly required it. That's a good idea I'll order some off of Amazon. It'll be here right after the rain stops.

Never even thought of it. It has cracks on 2 sides of it now- both are covered in Dicor. The one side got bigger and that's why it re-started its leaking.

Nothing to the Sandpiper, but the Morton Buildings crew did get started on its home today. This was the scene at about 11:00 am.
Before the day was done, they had most of the post up. Didn't get a picture before dark though.
Set up a time to meet the guy selling the swivel wheel "trailer". Heading down to Old Coots neck of the woods to meet the guy at 9:30 in the morning.
Morton says the structure will be done by Friday of next week. At that point we will just need concrete, electrical, and the 20' wide garage door!

I wish. Longest story shortest, back in January - I tried an overnight stop and think I nicked a tree in a twisty little campground (that turned out to be full-up). I had a mobile RV tech temporarily patch it up with Dicor and it worked for quite a while. But at the last rain, I had a drip. Ahead of 4 days of rain, I did this patchwork artwork. So far, few hours of rain and no drip.
Once the rain stops, I'll patch it with Eternabond until I can get somewhere that I'm there for 3 weeks at a go and will order a new skylight and install it.

I installed this screen door bar/handle. We got tired of the wind jerking the door out of our hands and trying to grab a little piece of plastic or screen wire, etc.
Also, I started the process of reassembling the big drawer that fell out of our couch on my last trip. I don't see how this ever held together. Didn't finish this job!

Sofa-Jack-knife-Bed Mod
Well, seeing as we're heading out in a few days, for a month, I decided to be sure I got some good nights sleep while camping.
You see.... The "Queen" gets the queen bed up front.
I am relinquished to the jack-knife sofa bed.... apparently I snore
I am not all that tall but the sofa is just a little too short to really stretch out my 5'9" tired old body.
So I did a mod to the end gable of the sofa between the table and chairs.

Welp, the duck tape failed. It's dripping into the shower. Guess I'll wait on that Eternabond and "fix" it right/temporarily again.

I did something today that many members may roll the eyes at or call me rookie. I am.
I did the mouse pad fix to my water pump. It is a lot quieter when it needs to run but Wow!. It no longer makes noise like a little hammer on the floor after pumping water.
Way Cool, now at night, my DW can hardly hear the drum roll on the floor as the pump winds down.
Thanks everyone for posting the simple things.

And that's why it hasn't been that big of a concern! I do worry a little how far it's traveling before it comes out. But, I literally can't deal with it for a little while longer- I'll just have to deal with it when I deal with it. c'est la vie.

I must have missed the post where it was talked about but I'm sure it's putting the mouse pad under the water pump for sound isolation. Use one of those pads that has a thin layers of rubber. Not all mouse pads have the nice rubber backing.

That is what I did. Simple fix, trim pad to fit under water pump, remove bolts, place pad under the pump and put bolts back on.

Ideally under the bolt heads you should put rubber washers so the bolt doesn't 'couple' the sound into the mounting board.

The story of this one is:
- Poster came telling us how wonderful their Golf Cart Dolly was
- Poster posted a few months later about how evil Sabre was because they use crappy frames and that Sabre denied their claim because that damage likely came from an impact
- Turbs put the two together and has assumed that the frame couldn't handle the extra stress of the golf cart (where the equalizer for the axles is)
The legality of these dollies is dubious, at best. Those that have them claim they're not double-towing (aka triple-towing) since it's a fixed attachmetn with 2 points of connection. States may or may not have differing views.

Yeah my theory is I would never tow behind a Trailer, too many things can go wrong and the MFG was right for denying the claim never seen that before but I am sure it had to do with frame not being able to handle that.....ouch anyway and ugh...lol
