Heh, I don't get credit (except for my poorly worded post that made it sounds like something I made- I'm buying this! ).

Woohoo! I get credit for something productive.

The person I'm interacting with is named Jennifer Miles on Facebook:

Added a screen room. Already had the deck and the table/chairs. Was so nice to sit outside and eat dinner and not get attacked by mosquitoes.

The lattice work laying in front is my project for next weekend.

I showed the pic of the screen door shoe storage to the BOSS and she said no go.

I liked it.

And again, I wear the pants in this family.

I guess.

You just don't wear the ones with the authority in them.

BTW, she's right!

Clearly you wear the pants in the family, but she wears the shoes!

We want to do something to try and tame the shoe mess right inside of the door. Sadly- I'm the worst offender.

I think it looks a little hokey but if it helps cleanup the floor- I'm willing to trade some ugly for functionality. The biggest ding to it is if we have our door fully open (which would limit its usefulness).

I could see doing this on the second door into the bedroom / bathroom. Maybe even a closet door, but I would pass on the main entrance.

EDIT: I remember watching a video from Luv Your RV or something like that where he made a show holder in some unused paneling by the door. It was a dead space behind a cabinet drawer.
