What did I do to my camper today? I brought it home after 4 fantastic days at the lake with family. Of course we met some amazing people we hope to see again. Sharpened up my Grilling skills and had a few cocktails.......life is good.

Replaced the rubber stow seal on the front of the slide that deteriorated into strips of goo. Bought 25' from Bill Plemmons rep at Mayberry. 2 screws and just slide the old out and the new in. WD40 to clean the goo off the slide. 30 minutes start to finish.

Amazon also sells it in 35 foot sections. I replaced all of mine last month. It was the second time for the top of the long slide.

The top and rear are like new I guess due to the slide topper awning and the rear being always in the shade. Plemmons delivered it right to the trailer, $75 for 25'.

Broken record, but I washed her from bow to stern. Lots of road grime from the early spring trip Indy to Ft Wilderness. Used a soap and wax combo product. Pretty happy with how it turned out. Just a few stubborn fly turds to circle back and remove.

And, it's pack up day for a move tomorrow. Back to MD for the first time in almost a year.

Got the roof washed, then it rained so still need to finish washing and waxing. Filled propane tanks, topped off water in battery and added air in tires. Then got into the real upgrades and removed Jensen radio and figured out how to make the TV sound come thru RV speakers. Had to add a RCA cord into back of radio and run up thru wall then connect to the RCA cord supplied with RV to connect to the headphone jack on TV. No other sound output connection on TV. Works fine but I would think they could do this from the factory. Then tried the DVD player and found that it does not work. Sound plays ok but picture rolls on TV. DVD player speed must not be correct. Tried 3 different DVD's. Something else to get replaced now.

Did you upgrade the 310 to the wood seat yet? Another nice upgrade I want.
Not yet but the wife has suggested it.

DVD issue

Edabeaut, verify the video wiring is going into the correct input/output. Mine rolled when I got it as well. Figured out they plugged the Composite video to one of the RGB jacks. Verify that you are using the same type of IN's to OUT's.

Good luck.

Well today I brought it back to the dealer to check out a leak.

After dumping the holding tanks and hooking up the TV, we noticed a lot of water draining out from underneath. The black and grey tanks dumped normal, it was not fresh water - I have a feeling the grey tank either has a leak or a loose fitting. Otherwise, our first weekend out was good. Everything worked correctly, even the dogs were well-behaved! I didn't even have to put the bark collar on the older one.

Now, I am making a list of things to add for our next outing. I am making a 'user manual' for the wife also.

Thanks for the info Paulie1138. I did go double check the connections last night and they were correct so I tried another RCA cord and it worked fine. Come to find out it was just a bad cord causing the issue. That's what's great about this forum. I would have just given up thinking it was a bad DVD player but knowing now others have had similar issues it prodded me to look further. Thanks again - We are leaving Saturday for the Smokey Mtns for a week so one last thing off the list.

yesterday my GF and i gave the inside a good scrubbing. While i was cleaning and trying to organize and inventory the supplies in the bathroom i got annoyed that there was so little room in the bottom of the vanity. As normal there was a thing piece of paneling attached by a piece of 1x1 covering the plumbing and wires in the back. Well, out came the screw driver and away went the panel. so much more space for all that girly bathroom stuff from the GF and 4 daughters lol. sure i can see the plumbing and wires now but i dont care, heck you dont cover that under the sinks at home. Although i guess the house isnt going 60 down the road either, but i doubt the soft TP will hurt that stuff. so many other panels through out the camper that might have to be removed in time.
