its just the angle of the photo, they are not too close to the tire, .... besides, they are cheap and easy to replace if that's ever needed, ....

Not something I have done today, but what I have worked on the last week or so. Our new 2017 Cougar X-lite 28RDB, which I assume to mean Rear Double Bunk, is now a 28 RSB. Removed most of the upper bunk and made it into a shelf.

Easy to do when its plugged in right next to the house. So quiet and relaxing, no phones or TV`s etc.... Just might take another nap today.

The bottom part of the poles only? I bet that was a tough nut to crack?

In the event of a blowout, there are likely to be more interesting things to be concerned about than low point drains.

Yep, did the same with our '14 Flagstaff 27BESS.....
Had the double full bunk - couldn't get any A/C down to the lower bunk where our son slept. DW said she needed more storage space, so I made an "L" shaped shelf out of the upper bunk.

Yours looks very well done. I too wanted to use a stained hardwood face plate. DW wanted padded for our 10 y/o DS. So we took DS to hobby lobby to pick the covering for it. I used two layers of batting for padding. DS will still bonk his head.

Thank you.
My son is in his 20's and still goes with us if he's not working. Yeah, he hits his head occasionally, too.

Well, I finally got my 30amp outlet installed at the house so I don't have to use,an extension cord to power it up.
That's only something I've wanted to do for about 5 years or so...
