What did you do to your camper today?

Installed a Hehr 22" x 14" Sliding tinted window in our 26DBH entry door this weekend.

Removed 6" of frozen snow from the roof
Removed cover.
Reinstalled batteries.
Dug it out of the snow.
Took it in a 1 hour haul to my brother's house.
Greased the bearings.
Had the WDH adjusted to fit new TV.
1 hour haul back to my house.
Plugged it in to keep batteries topped off.
Tested slideouts and electrical outlets.
Inspected roof seals.

was that a difficult install? Could you install that kit into a windowless door if you wanted?

Took about an hour and a half and it wasn't too hard to do. Definitely a two person job though!

I purchased through the company I work for as we are a distributor (OEM) for Hehr, Dometic and LCI.

A few items

A few things, of late...

A big day, got the non-temporary plate!

Set up my weight distribution hitch (http://a.co/ji40xwz):

Greased Wheel Bearings. Someone mentioned using a tube per wheel. As such, I have 4 brand new tubes ready to go. Each one took about 20 pumps. I was gentle and spun the wheel with my other hand. I also learned that the center cap pops off, so you DON"T have to take the wheel off. That would have been nice to know. =)

Replaced the craptacular faucet (https://www.walmart.com/ip/Peerless-...ickel/29202548) that is so close to the edge that it isn't usable. I'm trusting my connections, since I'm still winterized. It's an easy swap. Would have been faster with a basin wrench.

Adjustable shower head, for the DW (http://a.co/9uFlEtk).

Fridge heater mod. I had to guess which wire, and amazingly guessed right. The bottom thing is kind of like a clip that holds the wire. They are swapped from their original position, if anyone else is guessing too.

On my son's bunk, we have a "don't fall out" device that my dad built. I put some holes and notches in it. The notches are for travel (shown) and the holes are for having the ladder down (something to hook to). Also a velcro strap at the bottom (hard to see). Also some sticky fuzzies where it hits the wall/door. Hopefully won't scratch the tar out of things.

Came up with a way to keep my table from moving. A Velcro strap on one side. Then a board that the legs go through that fit "tightly" between the benches. Again with the sticky fuzzies for scratches. I wish I could have drilled my holes the same distance from the edge. Then it'd sit in there straight, instead of crooked as crap. I'll probably re-do "someday" it and stain/spiff it up a bit.

I also half-a$$ed a second battery on. Both will be replaced with Trojans eventually, so I didn't put much effort into it. Also installed my battery monitor (with bluetooth) ( Victron BMV-700) by shoving it under the battery cover. I can access it by bluetooth. Permanent/good/proper mounting will come "eventually" as well. Oh yeah, i cut some boards to use for leveling.

We got our 2306 late last year. Still working on getting it set up.

For reference, this *has* to be the faucet that the 2306 came with...

Where did you get the vanity fixture? We're having the same problem as you did with the factory fixture being to close to the edge.Click image for larger version

I gave a link! (though I did edit to add the link).

Anyway, I bought it in-store (Traverse City, MI, if you want to know). But this is it. Perhaps your store has it. I've had poor luck with the website knowing if something was in stock or not, so I'd check if I were you.

Of course, there's nothing special about it. It's a cheap lavatory faucet, but the reach is much improved.

Super easy. Un-thread 4 things, re-thread 4 things.
Just get a basin wrench (Amazon for $5), unless you want to fight a cramped area with channel locks/vice grips like I did.

heh, yeah, I guess so. I did that on probably the second or third day. I've taken out multiple separators already. They're hiding things that I don't care if they're hidden. Under that sink, there's probably 2x as much room for storage now. I can see the piping.......don't care. There are a couple in the front storage areas as well. Those add only a couple inches, but I'll take everything I can get. I'll (again, someday.....) tidy up the wires that are now exposed.

Send a message via Yahoo to bob caldwell
Don't forget that with front storage area plastic Wells removed, and wood floors, there's even more room
