Put screens on my reefer vent, furnace vent and HWH vent put a new cover the galley tank drain, I broke a clip off the old one last camping trip taking it off. Also picked up a water tight tote at WM for the sewer hose fittings.

What sort of screen did you use ? I was thinking about putting something to keep the bugs/critters out, but not block the vents too much, while it's at the storage lot (ideally something I can leave on all the time)

I bought Camco screens from Amazon.

Not sure if I had to do it over if I would buy the Camco for the furnace and HWH. They clip on with little springs, so we'll see how they do.

The ones for the reefer vents seem very good. They attach with wire ties, they supply two per screen but I added 3 more to each screen to make sure they didn't rattle or get loose in the middle. I did have to cut out the screen for the reefer vent hose to stick thru but that wasn't a big deal.

I really despise how many trailers, including ours, comes with a bathroom door that leaves huge gaps at the top. I want a private bath, not a highway rest area toilet stall.

Years ago when we were getting work done at Coachmen under warranty, I asked if they could get us some scrap pieces of wall paneling. Something they would just toss anyway. They gave us a 4x8 sheet of wall paneling and one of wood paneling that matched our trailer. Nice.

This year finally got around to building a header for the door. I got the trim pieces by taking them off from portions of the trailer no one sees (in the front closet for instance).

I wanted it to not be noticeable. Much better for me.

Send a message via Yahoo to bob caldwell
Gaps are for one, or both, my think'n, to let stink out or heat in.

Sad days coming this weekend. Cleaning out our unit and taking it to dealer for a couple of warranty repairs then storage. Hopefully Florida in January.
