I took the TT along on two errands today -- the pics tell the story:
My tire dealer asked to bring my FW the next time I get an alignment on my truck so he can better tweak it to towing. I thought he was bs'ing me. I didn't realize they could do this.

It's tough around here to find any place to do it right so I do it for locals and friends. Most places want to sell you a whole new axle but that's not necessary.
It's time consuming because it's a lot of measuring and fine adjustments until all wheels are aligned starting with distance off of the kingpin to the lead axle. This measurement should be as close as you can get it within .125". Then check measurement off the lead axle to the rear axle and it should be the same left and right.
For fine adjustment and setting toe and camber it's just a matter of tweaking the axle tube in the right spot to only effect where you need it.
A length of string, a plumb bob, chain, bottle jack or porta-power, tape measure, a slide measuring stick, and angle finder protractor is what I use.
This is all done on a level concrete pad with the 5er set at ride height and ready to camp.
The chain and jack looks primitive but it gets it done. The block of wood is only there to support the bottle jack in a horizontal position.
Removed the original Roo decal from the back side of my hybrid, and added a new Great Lakes decal. (you may also notice I repaired the original brake light/license plate bracket on drivers side)

AFAIK the only reason my TV had to remain attached was for moving the trailer. These guys specialize in trailers, motorhomes and semis in addition to of course cars. My TT wheels were pretty out of whack based on the readings he showed me.

And what we learned today is the bars need to be removed from the handy-dandy holders BEFORE backing the TV to the TT. Just sayin'
Thanks for following up and sharing, who would have figured. Did you read it in the owners manual or better yet stumble across it? My WDH is the chain type. Seems the dealer has it dialed i pretty close. Trailer is maybe 1/8 bubble high and with 2 links hanging truck fenders look like this on level ground
Where did you mount the WDH holders on the trailer rockfordroo?
Today I tested my generator on the TT low pressure propane to make sure it could handle the a.c.. It took it like the Champion it was in eco mode even. Ready for eclipse boondocking now.
No A.C. in aug means no DW so I had to make it work.

I hung them from the frame using hanging pipe hangers like this bolted to cross-members.
Next up are these.

m35a2, great mod, been wanting to do that to my RAM also. Tell me, is the clearance light wiring already built into the trucks harness from the factory?
thanks

Well we towed it home from the inlaws. After this trip we have come to the conclusion that it tows much better with water in the water tank. But then again our wdh and anti sway are from the 80s
Did you read it in the owners manual or better yet stumble across it?

Today it was more like what my camper did for me: I grabbed a tape measure and found that what I assumed from the model number T2050 since I bought it in March was a 20.5-foot trailer, is actually a 23-footer! [emoji2]
I grabbed the take measure because I refused to believe that the A-frame accounted for the remaining 5.5 feet of the overall 25'11" length in the specs. Sure enough.
