They do work though. I have one that goes from the entry stair down to the leg and that helps forward to aft.

That's good to know! Did you just do one fore and aft? Have you made any for the rear stabilizers?

We completed what we wanted to do, take the kids to see every state in the USA, the lower 48 were done in this TT over the last 21 months. Full timing is just not our cup of tea, now if I were retired and the kids out of the house that would be a lot different. Maybe in 8-10 years... At some point I think we will do Alaska by RV, most likely a Class C but that might be 4-5 years from now so it was time to sell the WindJammer. Didn't want her to just sit on our side yard and slowly deteriorate from non-use. Obviously we didn't know what we were doing, full-timing and travelling in a Ultra-lite TT but I'll have to say she held up pretty well and I think all 4 of us will miss that dang TT. I guess it's actually 5 of us since our dog went too, might be the one of the few dogs to pee and poop in all 48 lower states.

I actually did 1 fore & aft down and 1 from the port to starboard side down so they both push on the same leg near the foot.
My rear jacks that I fabricated are self stabilizing and can support the coach off of the ground if need be. (See pic)

Np, here is a closer image of the center bracket, like I said it is Uni-Strut but you could use about anything. I just wanted the bolt supported on both sides of the bar.

I put the tire back on that I took off over the weekend. While I was at it, I loosened all of the lug nuts for the other 5 tires and tightened them all in steps (50/80/110 ft/lbs).

The existing wheels were a mish-mash of incredibly tight (light had to stand my 300 lbs. onto the breaker bar and others weren't very tight (easy push by hand with the breaker bar).

I'm glad I did it but am now am wishing I had done it sooner.

And now, we just stopped at a gas station at around 45 miles so I could go around and re-check them. Maybe 6 or 7 of the 48 lug nuts needed a little tightening. We'll stop again in 45 miles or so to check again. We'll repeat until none of them need tightening.

Just installed a battery cutoff switch on my Surveyor 243RBS. It seems like something that should be standard equipment. It wasn't at all difficult. There is plenty of room under the lid. For the record, I installed it on the ground side.

Silicone spray on the rod then run it in and out. Might also want to disassemble it and give it a good clean and lube. Did that once and was not to bad.

I just drilled a small hole that would allow the straw from a "Tri-Flow" lube can to fit in just above the Rod entrance end! Injected "Tri-Flow" and screwed a Small sheet metal screw into the hole! Worked the Blade valve back and forth a few times,slides better than New! Youroo!!

Installed a Dometic 320 in place of the Dometic 300. Took a little cabinet modification to make it fit...just in time for our first trip of the year starting tomorrow.

Brought it home from Storage today to begin the dewinterization and project list. Noticed that my China bombs are done....

Changed the door and all compartments to match the slam latch locks (they are the hardest to replace).

Will start calling tire shops tomorrow as it is not going on any highways like that. Keep plugging away on the "List".

A tech installed a grease zerk on one of my valves. I kicked myself for a long time that I didn't have him do them all (5 valves total on that rig).

I really like this. Can you explain the 3-way switch thing to me? Is it that the lights come on if any one switch is in the "on" position?

I'd love to add extra light switches that control the same fixtures around the room.

When I built them I posted it but have no idea where to find the post. I made them from 3500# tongue jacks. I cut them down, added a flip-foot, and welded a mount so I can bolt them to the 5er's I-beam frame. They've been working flawless.

E'Dad, I did the 3 ways because: one switch controls the overhead main lights. One controls the hard to reach bedroom lights. One controls the under cabinet lights. 3 triple controls. One mounted by the main doorway, one by the seating, one back in the bedroom with Velcro. (Shuts off while in bed, should I desire not to get up!)

All three makes it easy.

And....the one Ring to rule over tham all.....lol!
