If you turn on a light at one switch, does it light up the LED switch indicator at all other switch locations? If so that would be sweet. You could then see at another location what switch to push to turn them off.

You should see a date on the tire, millage really normally not a factor as much as the rule of thumb being 4 years old. Some can push to 5 years, but it cost less to buy new tires then to repair the damage.

Date code on tires I think is 3016, you can see it in the one picture.

Maxxis has a sale on right now in Canada. 25% off and free shipping. Ordering 5, think I will go with the load range E.

Good choice in my opinion, I went with maxxis, after the OEM garbage, I went with GY Marathons, had a problem when they started to make them overseas, dealer told me they where us made, wrong, after I proved it to them they said we will pay for any tire I wanted, told them to put Maxxis on, since then 3 years ago I have never looked back, still look like new. The dealer didn't know that they just switched from making them in the USA. At least they were honest.

Ok, so it does sound like I can have 3 switches for the same set of lights. I'd definitely like this. Right now, our kitchen lights are controlled by switches on one end of the room behind a cabinet door. We already have 3 switches for 3 different light settings, so it's a nice match for the product you linked.

I'd like one outside of the cabinet on the same end of the room; one by the front door on the other end of the room; and one up on the landing at the top of the steps.

Then the bedroom would be good to have 2 switches - just for the reason you mention. One to turn off the overhead lights while sitting in bed and the other where it already is.

Spring projects completed

1. Added second battery with solar chargers.
2.Installed cabinet doors for WH by-pass and rear tail light access, this gives me two new cabinets for storage.
3. Installed AM antenna for radio.
4. Built and installed a two flag holder for tongue of trailer.
5. Replaced inside speakers with speaker bought at second hand store. Total cost- $8.00 and now have wonderful sound.
5. Installed Fantastic Fan and trashed OEM fan.

RAY -- can you share where you purchased these and what you think of the quality? I'm on the fence about installing on three of my slides.

I got it online from Camping world here:
https://www.campingworld.com/solera-...th-awning-rail

The quality was fine I thought. The installation was easy and I just needed my wife to help feed it into the track after I installed the brackets and rail.

Also, and a word of caution....I don't know if they made a mistake, but they gave me free shipping and it came by truck. When I looked into it last year, the shipping was something like $130 and I didn't order it. Same with another site I checked. This year, I added it to my cart and it said $0 shipping, so I completed the order.

Cheap "wall" in all the cubbys

While playing with the out door kitchen, and trying to make a bit more room I noticed these stupid "walls". They are actually thin plywood stapled to trim that covers up the wiring and piping and such. I immediate ripped all that s@!% out. I would like to find a more simple way to cover up the wires that takes up less room. Anybody else do something similar?

Changed the door and all compartments to match the slam latch locks (they are the hardest to replace).

Will start calling tire shops tomorrow as it is not going on any highways like that. Keep plugging away on the "List".Attachment 169496Attachment 169497Attachment 169498
Did I read that correctly, that you added slam latches to your bins?

I'm getting out of town next week with the truck and trailer. May not be back until June. If it's still raining I'm leaving again. Where too? Depends on where the dart lands on my map.
Will be up that way in mid June. We want to see the mountain out so we will still be there in Aug.

Not all of this today, but this week.
Add bedlifts. (Worth the PITA installing)
Added 2 - 6 volt batteries
Added inverter.
Added 5" fence post to the back of trailer between rear wall and cargo carrier for stinky slinky.
Figured out a way to get the bikes on the cargo rack without a carrier.
Added cabinet door organizers (holds stuff like foil and saran wrap) to the inside of the wardrobe doors to hold underwear.
Whew, I bet he is tired.
I cleaned out stuff we had not used and re organized inside.
Still stuff to do like load up with food and clothes. Then head out for our big adventure. We will be on the road for about 4 months. If I can get him to stay away from the Tip of Texas for the whole summer, I will be a really happy camper.

Set my landing gear up so I can either use the physical switch or a remote Control, will be great when I'm leveling.

Not a bad upgrade for $33 plus some misc connectors.

I still need to add a disconnect switch for the receiver to eliminate any current draw or accidental activation.

I've had great luck with those remote kits from Amazon. I've installed them on my flatbeds with winches and two dump trailers. They've been working great for years.
I actually just bought another kit last week for my front hydraulic landing gear. Just need the time now to do it.

Yeah for what they are you can't beat the price. I had electric landing gear so I had to add the solenoid block for the switching. Hyd gear would be a lot easier.

No, I changed the entry door lock and cam locks on the outside fridge and kitchen to Bauer locks. My basement storage slam latches are Bauer. Now I have one key for all.

Funny Sirius story...

When I was in my position at work I had a portable Sirius radio on my desk. When I moved to operations I could no longer use it so I put it in a box and forgot about it for a month or so. I saw the charge on my card and it reminded me to call and cancel it. That was almost five years ago. Last spring I found it and planned on activating it for the trailer. I plugged it in to get the radio ID and voila it still works. Used it all last camping season. Someone told me when they send the kill signal for a radio, it is only in the stream for a specified time then they take it out. Makes sense or else they would run out if bandwidth. Guess I just waited them out
