Hate to ask but did you have a TPMS on board?

Very nice just purchased a rear view safety camera system. I was debating on removing the center light or mounting below it. Yours looks good.

Thanks! I’m really pleased with having it and the extra visibility. Really wasn’t hard to add it below and keep the running light in place. Knowing my set up, I wouldn’t have replaced as there were three holes for the running light, a 1” one for wiring and the two for the screws. Much cleaner adding it below.

No, it’s been on the list to get, but.... I hadn’t ordered it yet. Kinda kicking myself for that and not having replaced the tires yet.

Plugged it in opened up all the slides to make sure no critters made it in.
Everything looks to be in good order. After all the outside walls have been replaced by forest river I was anxious to see it all opened up.

What did you do to your camper today?

Make sure when you upgrade the tires you get the all metal high PSI valve stems installed as well.
Good luck!

Like I told the wife, it sucks, and it’s an expensive lesson to learn.
I’m trying to find them around here, but not having any luck yet. I looked at it some more this eve, that piece is only 6ft long. Fairly straightforward to replace it, the fender skirt, and the front wheel well plate. The FIL runs a body shop, they have done rv repair before so I’m going to talk with him tomorrow and see what he thinks.
It already has the steel valve stems so I’m good there

What camera system did you get? And where did you get it?
Are you happy with the video quality? Any transmission drops?
I'm on the fence for one.
Thanks!!!

Awesome! Having family in the business makes it a lot easier. As for the tires, I ordered mine via ebay, most of them were through simple tire. Shipping was free through ebay and I got the tires at great price. I then took the trailer and tires up to a truck shop and I was able to get them swapped out. Don't try to take them to 'just' a car shop, these are crazy stiff sidewalls and a small tire changer would have a hard time getting them mounted.

There are some benefits occasionally [emoji846]
I’ll look on there for sure. Everyone locally is really pushing the Hercules 14 ply trailer tires but I can’t find much on them.. my local tire shop does farm and semi, so I’m not that worried on the mounting and dismounting. I’ll probably just do a side at a time and repack the wheel bearings while I’m in there. If I have my FIL do the body work that’s a bigger pain than the tires as he’s 2 hrs away.
Did you balance yours?

I had mine balanced. Smart to get them balanced to ensure your trailer has a smoother ride. I have no experience with the Hercules. I have put on over 3000 miles now on the Sailuns G637 and they are amazing.

I got this one from amazon. No issues yet. It is rated to 100’. I was skeptical but even with the antenna stuffed inside the frame, clear as day.

I purchased from them before, good service, good products. The tires I bought from them lasted 8 years.

The Taskmaster is just a run of the mill China made tire. There’s a reason they are cheaper than Maxxis or GY614.

Installed the K&N cold air intake system. Starts 3,000 mile trip with the TH Sunday so will find out if it really works.

Gary, Thanks to your instructions, I did mine today. Piece of cake to do and I didn't even need to disconnect any wires. It looks funny to me now, but since there's now plenty of tailgate clearance, I'll get used to it.
By the way, in case someone else needs to do it also, the tap size for the bolts on mine is 5/16" -18

I installed the MaxAir vent covers that I got for Christmas after I got home from work today. DW went through the cupboards and draws to see what we need for our first trip of the season on the 18th.

You can also find them at Home depot for around the same price.
