I am so sorry to hear this. I have recently loss a friend to ovarian cancer and the important thing is to keep a positive attitude (easier said then done). She stayed very active for over a year until it finally took her. They have made a lot of advances in treatment.

Sorry to hear that. With all the advancements they are making, it is very important to keep a positive attitude! My Doctor can't get over how positive mine is and always comments about it. Remember, only worry about what you can control!

W5CI, I also hate to hear this from anyone.

X2 on the positive attitude. My deceased wife was diagnosed with an auto immune disease in 1992. She had 5 years at the most. She told her doctor that the doom and gloom was wasted on her because she was going to prove him wrong. She then proceeded to live an additional twenty nine years.

Yes, the auto immune disease did her in but only after surviving brain cancer with its surgery, chemo and X-ray therapy.

Good luck and good vibes!

So was John Wayne in the 1960s. They removed one of his lungs and he lived a couple more decades.

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I just returned from my first check-up for prostate cancer treatment, and my PSA is 0. The Dr. says that means there isn't any active cancer. I couldn't have had better care than I did at the clinic that I was treated at. Have lots of faith and we will be praying for you.

Almost finished packing for our great Alaska adventure. Fixed a closet door that wouldn't close and hubby added clothes rods in the garage. Too much to do. We leave on Thursday night.

I'm really happy for you. Did you have surgery or radiation?

I had prostate surgery last summer and found out in September that they missed something. I have my last radiation treatment on 5/21. I hope that that got what they missed with the knife.

W5CI,

Our business partner just got his clean bill of health after fighting rectal cancer.

As many have said here, keep a great attitude. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Swapped out the rock hard thing FR passes off as a mattress. A Queen size Zinus 8" Gel-infused Green Tea foam mattress is inflating as you read this. For those who may be wondering, there was no discernable odor on opening the inner bag. We'll be testing it out on our inaugural trip beginning Sunday afternoon.

X2

My brother is a ten year survivor of Prostrate Cancer. My deceased wife SURVIVED aggressive brain cancer- surgery, chemo, X-Ray therapy.

However, they did it. Is not _I_ did it.
Prayers,
positive thoughts,
white light to you fellow human.

May you get what you need to survive.
