I've changed it to "(Hot) Water Heater" to placate you purists while still satisfying the non-purists.

BTW: For abbreviation, I've seen "HWH" used here a LOT more than "WH".

But to keep the oxymorons going, I’ll continue to “act naturally” to the “small crowd” of purists (which may be “growing smaller”) because I’m “clearly confused” by this “amazingly awful” subject. And that’s a “definite maybe.”

I have been thinking about getting one of those. What are your thoughts on its performance and are you happy with your decision to install it?
Thanks,

Welp, the hitch saga continues. The ride with this truck, the Andersen, and this fixed pinbox continues to beat us up. Between back to back driving days and the state of the highways, my wife has been brought to tears on a couple of our drives.

I don’t blame any 1 thing- I think it’s a combination of them all. I just sent an email to order a TS3 Trailer Saver hitch by Hensley.

Well, it's been installed for a little less than 24 hours so it's a little early to tell. That said, accessing stuff that winds up in the middle is a lot easier to get to without pulling out everything else. It extends about 3 ft. past the door on each side. The latch has about 1/8" of play but, some play will make it easier to unlatch when fully loaded. The box was a bit battered but, the foam pillows held the tray away from the sides and was undamaged. I have right at 12" of clearance between the tray bottom and the top of the door opening. That necessary loss would be the same for any slide system. On the whole, it works as advertised and so far, I think it's a Good Thing(tm).

Most folks just call it a "water heater". Why call it either hot or cold. Here WD, notice no reference to hot or cold. https://www.lowes.com/c/Water-heater...SAAEgJWIPD_BwE

At the bottom it says " let lowes install your hot water heater" that is from what you just linked to. Lowes uses a common term "hot water heater"

It is mostly a Hot Water Heater

OK! It's all a matter of perspective.

When I first fill it and turn it on, it is a Cold Water Heater or simply a Water Heater.

Beyond that, when the temp of the Hot Water drops to a point that the thermostat says, let's go, it is a Hot Water Heater. That water is Hot, just not Hot Enough.

So, when you fill it up and turn it on, yes, it is simply a Water Heater. But beyond that, it is heating hot water to achieve desired temp, hence, Hot Water Heater.

And remember, Ground is meaningless, without Potential.

The first outing with our new TT I referred to my Suburban SW6 water heater as a cold water storage tank, and some other names too.

I dropped her off at my dealer for repairs. One of the side rollers on the slide-out awning was broken so I had to get on a ladder and manually lift it whenever the slide out was brought back in. Also, last week, I must’ve drove over a rock that was just high enough to hit the back steps and bent them a few inches.(Works but you have to man handle it to get it to extend) Thankfully the rock missed everything else. I had pulled into the large parking lot of a hardware store to rest and have lunch but when we went to leave an SUV had parked right in my exit path so I slowly drove through a gravel lot that had a few boulders sticking up. I didn’t even know I had scrapped until we were setting up that night....watch those rocks, folks!!

Sometimes it's a cold water storage tank because it won't turn on!

Got a few things done today.

Installed a new keyless entry electric lock on the entry door. Got it on Amazon and only took about 15 minutes to install including programming a combination.

Replaced all the storage locks to a set of keyed alike tubular key cam locks also from Amazon. No more CH751 keys that everyone has. Yeah, I know, they can still be pried open, but I'd still rather the storage hatches didn't have the same key as everyone else.

Removed the gas strut from the entry door which I hated since you can't open the door beyond 90 degrees and have to slam it to close. Plus, where I park at home it's now easier to get around the door with it all the way open.

Installed a rubber door bumper to the exterior wall to that the door won't hit the outdoor speakers after taking off the gas strut. And installed a T-lever door holder on the door and exterior wall to hold the door all the way open if wanted.

Replaced both 12" propane hoses that go from the tanks to the regulator. They were both leaking at the crimp when you pressed on the hoses just a little bit.

What did you do to your camper today?

Had the transmission flushed with new filter and fluid in our Forester MH. Also replaced the brake fluid. Little early per Ford PM schedule but at 50,000 I figured it was time.
