THIS is what you do - she cut it custom fit - it does not even need velcro, the shade holds it in place! Doubles as a heat reflector as well!

Dark as a tomb in the BR with this up and the doors shut!
Just did this as a "temp fix" (may be permanent as DW likes it too) due to a destroyed shade when the window blew open coming home from Watkins Glenn.

Getting ready for the trip to Goshen!

Washed the TT and TV, scrubbed the awning trying to get the stains out (only partially successful - still some staining left), adjusted the rear-view camera, completed PM on hitch (polished and inspected ball, cleaned friction surfaces, checked all fasteners) and adjusted ball angle (after trip to Florida and back, I thought I needed a little more weight transfer), checked tires and added a few shots of grease to the hubs.

The outside is all done, now to get DW to get the inside cleaned and everything packed.

Getting to Goshen a day early - Come on Saturday!!!

Installed a Bauer keyless entry door lock. Easy to install, easy to program, works nice. Now the DH won't have to always have to find her key. Just one more little thing to keep her happy and that's worth a lot! Getting things ready to leave for Goshen. Looking forward to seeing a lot of you next week.

Drove from Cody WY to Devils Tower
Across hwy 14A. Quite the inclines with a 35 ft fifth wheel. F-350 6.7 liter had no problems at all. Beautiful trip.

Have had issues lately, or thought I was having issues with the electric stab jacks. Having figured out what the problem was, I have been wanting to protect the switches that were exposed to the elements. Some of you have done something similar, so here is what I did.

Want to protect switches jut like OC and Timex did. Can not find Cooper brown covered in Canada's, hoping somewhere has them in Goshen! Tried to wash the TV tonight but we have severe thunderstorms and Tornado watches, one spotted just north of us! Leave Thursday for the states and the rally!

Here's the link to the lock sold on Ebay. Not the same supplier, but the same lock and price. Check the Bauer website. All the specs are there and videos that show how to install. Also, make sure you get the right one. There is one for trailers and one for MH's.

Where did you get the compartments? They look real nice. Sure wish you were going to Goshen. Would love to have a tour of your 5er with all the neat mods you've added.

We bought a new rear living 25' 5er in 06 thinking we would have time to grow into it once we had kids. We'll we adopted 3 siblings at once so pretty much over night the camper was to small. We want to save up to buy another one in a year or two so I figured this would get us by for now

We went to Ikea and got a sofa sleeper and mattress. It comes with a nice cover that matches the interior of my 8327ss. It works awesome and my son who is 6' 1" said its really comfortable! Check it out:

Got the covers at Lowes.
Shop Hubbell TayMac 1-Gang Rectangle Plastic Electrical Box Cover at Lowes.com

They can be locked to keep sticky fingered kids out. The lock would have to be a small one though. This box is designed to be used in 16 different configurations and is weatherproof. I chose to have the lid lift up in case I forgot to close it and got exposed to rain, etc. I used a little bigger screw than what was holding the switch on the exterior wall. Didn't have to drill any more holes or do any cutting. I caulked it good behind and around all the sides with silicon caulk. Water won't be getting into these switches!

Might have to buy white ones and paint them.

Gonna get these covers for sure. I'm paranoid about the rocker switches for our stab jacks and landing gear. Ten minutes away from your site, and a nefarious minded person=a huge mess for a 5er owner.

Outta site outta mind.

Thanks for the information!
