I am considering running eternabond tape on all my roof seams. Not that I’m having problems more of a preventive measure. Has anyone done this?

Yes, done my my last trailer and have been working towards this is the current trailer. It is not cheap for the tape but it is much cheaper than the leak!

Yes, on my old camper. I did it the first year after I went up and did my first roof maintenance.

I went to do it on my new camper, but I have a cap issue so will wait until I have that repaired first. Then I will EB the front and back seams as well as all roof penetrations.

I had some extra 6 inch wide EB from the seams, so I beefed up the area under my Sensar Roof Antenna to prevent wear there from vibration and winds.

Is 3 inch wide sufficient?

I bought a roll of 4 inch wide and 2 10 foot pieces of 6 inch wide for the end seams.

3 inch would be too narrow and you will wind up using twice as much with overlap.

Don't forget the spray primer as that is really needed to prep the EDPM for a perfect long lasting seal.

These guys also had the best price for the tape.

Remember to carry a can of spray and a few feet of tape in case you snag a limb on your roof in a rain storm; don't ask why that was important.

Was real simple. The motors are a 2 way motor. Ordered 4 on ebay, had to modify 1 bracket(3" black tank mount). Ran the wires to all 4 hooked up to a remote transmitter. Any questions pm me.

Scratch that.. Was 4",just measured it. And yes it was enough. No overlap to do the roof seams on my tt, took it about 1/2" into the gutter as well.

On my 5er I did overlap the front seam at the front cap to be safe. Side will not need overlap.

Bearings repacked and brakes inspected. Got 50% brake life left.

Safe and happy travels.

Getting ready for first trip of the year, Myrtle Beach Travel Park on Tuesday. It will be to cold over night to un-winterize I will do this tomorrow or Monday.
I put air in tires, lubed stabilizers with just a dab of Mobile 1, lubed all locks, moved some stuff back in living quarters.

This came in handy

I feel silly, recently found out the factory back up camera has a zoom feature. So much easier.
