Thanks! Just trying to make the rig as safe and as comfortable as possible. I will say Jennifer @ MoRryde has been right on top of my emails and quick to reply. I'm hoping the rest of the experience is as good as she is!

Probably not the place to post but the TV is part of our rig and the updates and repairs to it have all been focused on towing. Just had to replace the alternator which was working fine and quickly went south. Pulled into the dealer and it died in the service bay! A new Ford Alt installed is still better than a payment on a new F350!

The Dexter Torflex (torsion) axles on my Rockwood Signature 5er are more than adequate for that size of trailer - at least for the suspension. Disc brakes like on the MORryde IS would be nice though!

took out sofa

replaced carpet

set up hardware for new sofa

STOP ! they sent the wrong cushions

now to work on the bottom panel and make a couple of small tables

Replaced the “D” seal around the slide out on my TT. The original seal was a broken gooey mess. Finished just before the rain came.

Yesterday I started by taking out the center seating section of the dinette. Today, I finished taking apart the front sides of the seats and cut the 1/4" paneling to complete them. My plan is to use the existing table hardware but add a 44"x35" butcher block table top. More to come.

It was a honey do kind of day for us yesterday:

• hung command hooks inside the pantry for our grill tools
• hung a curtain up at the loft to hide the ugly "attic storage"
• hung lights w/ clips for photos in my daughter's side of the bunk
• hung lights and more clips around the head of both kids' bunks
• wife reorganized the kid's pencils + school supplies with drawers she bought (I had to cut and glue up wood to raise it up a little)
• wife organized her crafting station so that she can open it and work vs. collecting everything that falls out!
• dumped a couple loads of gray + black water to the bladder
• shipped out the LowPro Lockdown to a buyer

We have another bathroom project planned- my wife wants to hang some jars to hold her make up brushes. She's bought jars, boards, and hose clamps. Now it's up to me to put it all together. This is the concept:

My 2018 Rockwood didn't have Morride steps I ripped out the factory steps put in Morride storage box there and going to install Morride steps and water miser in shower.

I went to Lowe's and picked up the sharkbite coupler to remove my FR water filter system. I dont have a wet well, and its placed in a area that is very hard to reach . The last thing I need is this thing to break and leak while away from the RV. I will go with the cheap outside blue filter that attaches to my hose. We only drink bottled water , at home and while camping.

That's all we drank. We finally bought a Big Berkey Water Filter and wish I had gotten one 10 years ago!

When we went fulltime, we were buying 10-12 gallons of water a week plus a case or two of water every couple of weeks. Between the Berkey and a set of 10-12 reusable water bottles (Tupperware), we haven't bought water in a good 3 years.

For those that "don't drink the water", what water do you shower in? Brush your teeth with? Wash your dishes with?

There are several daily activities that will involve the potential for contaminated water contacting your mouth or dishes. I've worked for a municipal Works Dept. for 30 years now - 25 in the the water supply and distribution side, and I know what E. coli can do. I prefer not to take my chances so I use a high quality filter in the camper when we're using water from an unknown source. As part-timers, we only have to replace the filter once a year so it's inexpensive insurance. I'd still do it if we were full-timers travelling around.

I can't speak for anyone else but we don't drink the water due to taste, nothing more.

I do have a filter on the incoming water supply and we use a chlorine filter in the shower (mostly for protecting my wife's hair).

I dont swallow the when I brush my teeth, I try to sip it out, then use a little water from a bottle to rinse then sip again. Dishes are usually dried as soon as washed ,then put away so the natural dust doesn't contaminate them. And as far as drinking city water ,we dont and wont. The city water here is a joke . And I know where it comes from and what they call their treatment.
