Location: About 30 miles west of Beantown.

My TT has an second entrance that goes directly onto the bathroom which is handy for roadside potty stops. The only problem is the switch for the water pump Is located at the other end of the camper. Since I don't travel with the water pump turned on I would like to install a second switch in the bathroom for the pump so I don't have to go up front to turn it on before using the bathroom.

Throw a gallon jug of water in the bathroom sink. Problem solved.

Dealt with a broken drawer on one of our cheap IKEA cabinets. This poor thing was doomed from the start. It was the cheapest they offered in while dressers, was put on a place where the rear of the dresser wasn't supported (due to the angled floor of the toy hauler), and tipped quite a few times during travel before we properly secured it.
I put the drawer back together and fixed another broken piece on the dresser to bide us a bit more time.

Read it on another link here, and the vent covers reflectix is supposed to help keep temperature under the vents. The A/C box helps the air temp in the box, not insulating the condenser . Insulated the cooling lines to help with condensation.

To be clear, the insulation is placed on the metal condenser box not the plastic cover of the air conditioner. Its job is to keep the cold air inside the camper and provide a buffer against the hot air on the outside of the metal box.
Covering the suction line keeps the cold refrigerant in the lines from warming up in the hot air on its way to the condenser. You can see the heat gain (loss of efficiency) by the ice forming on uninsulated lines.

Insulating the vent covers will reduce the heat load on the camper by keeping the cold air inside from contacting the hot plastic vent cover.
Insulating the outside of the condenser box keeps the air conditioner air from escaping through the seams in the thin metal condenser box and minimizes the heat transfer from the hot air outside to the cold air inside.

All this is true it will help, but insulating the suction line is really done to stop the suction line from condensation. On a roof top unit not much value but a split system it has to have it.

The condenser box contains the heat exchanger, you do not want that part insulated. If anything you want the evaporator portion insulated.

OK..I see that the condenser is not the part being insulated. I agree its a good mod. What threw me is that you said you insulated the condenser box which is NOT what you did.

One option is to disconnect the wires from the front panel and move them to a switch in the bathroom. If the pump and an interior bathroom wall are on the same side of the unit, you can most likely snake the wires behind cabinets, and move the switch to the bathroom.
You could also provide parallel power to the pump from another source. It could cause confusion when you want the pump off.
I personally would prefer the switch to be in the bathroom.

A totally different option. I added a Water Worker 2 gallon In-Line Pressurized Well Tank. Holds enough water to flush several times without needing the pump on. Also nice at night, pump doesn't cycle on every time water is used.
Can be tied into the plumbing anywhere you have room. I know there is a smaller RV specific tank, but it only holds about a pint of water.
