Did this years ago myself. Kept the original around just in case we decide to go on a BBQ picnic.[emoji106]

I did PRECISELY THAT!!! And they are still unrotated on this forum! It happens to me and lots of others who have complained about this VERY SAME THING!
Thanks I made them myself in my friend's Cabinet Shop out of Cherry and Mahogany.

I had to trim the tabs in the back to make it fit right but not too complicated. Used a sharkbite t fitting to tap the water line.
I have one in the house that has a "clean" feature that trickles water down the nozzle instead of shooting it up/fwd. This model does not have that so I'll have to be careful winterizing it so I dont catch a face full of antifreeze.

Bought and used a Sherline tounge weight scale. If you don't have one buy one. You will be surprised by what your tounge weight really is. I rearranged the load and downsized what was not needed. I now have to reset the WD hitch. Cant wait to see the difference on our next trip.

I have one and also use it to check the weight at each wheel.

Thanks for the follow up, another question. Will it work properly if not hooked up to city water and only use the storage tank?

Picked my 5th up from Orvan (Amish Family RV) today. He did quite a few things for me, some of the more major things were:
-Installed Easy start's on both A/C's
-Replaced panel on inside where water leaked from window being misaligned when installed (Factory covered)
-Replaced 3-way control valve for slides as they wouldn't lock in (Extended Warranty)
-Installed Horst tank probe sensors on black and grey tanks.
-Removed T molding (on dinette slide where outside surface would separate from molding when the additional awning was extended), added glue & 3" eternabond tape before sealing and replacing it.
-Repacked wheel bearings and lubed chassis as needed.
-Replaced shower waterless trap with a water P trap (sewer odor would fill bathroom when grey dump valve left open)
-Replaced torn D-seals and resealed voids on roof and seams as needed.
He did have my unit a little longer than a couple of days to make repairs. Part of it due to he now has to have the okay for the warranty work ahead of time and wanting to have all the parts there. Still well worth it, as I know it has been worked on by the best in the business.
For those CC owners that are looking to take their unit to Orvan, Amanda mentioned now that the Covid was easing up and those that had cancelled their appointments were looking to get them in now. The 3 bays were filled and additional units sitting near the bays. Don't know if they were waiting to be picked up (like mine) or worked on. So you might want to call sooner than later.

I installed them on black and gray tanks earlier this year. So far working great. No more dumping tanks and still having them read partially full.

Is the type of toilet it's mounted on relevant? E.g., 300 vs 310?

Does that involve more than swapping the probes themselves, like maybe a different display panel?

Just the probes.
I'm a fan of the Horst Miracle Probes. Had them on my last two campers and they're a big improvement. In fact, my current camper I installed them before we even used the camper when brand new. When I empty the black tank they usually read empty, it not immediately, within a few minutes. Especially after a quick shot from the tank flush, less than a minute.
My install was really simple, because I don't have an enclosed bottom under the camper, so access was easy and the install was maybe 1/2 hour.

I used a piano hinge and toy box hinges that lock when opened fully
The one in the kitchen is secured by screwing it into a cleat I added to the inside of he cabinet ply wood to give it strength.
The one for DWs chair I used modified toggle bolts to shorten them so they would not poke out the outside wall.
All but the first and last pics are twisted 90 degrees left. Typical forum crap, you can't change it.

Great job, thank you for taking the time to post up the pictures.
I can't edit your post obviously, but I did rotate your photos and added them to my post I hope you don't mind?

Works better depending on the water pressure. Only thing to watch is that it is possible to fill the bowl with a lengthy rinse.
